My first guitar I bought and played was an ibanez bass guitar. So finger picking is pretty easy for me then it is to use a pick.

every time I put my fingers on the fret/strings and I try to play any note on my guitar, there is literally no sound/sound is emprty? I picked up a guitar last week but i'm having trouble, please help!
it takes a lot of practice! You have to press down very hard and build up the strength in your hands. It takes a while but keep after it and you'll get it down!
that used to happen to me too. I'm on my second week. my advice is to press down really hard. it will hurt at first but your hands will build calas's and will become stronger. rn, I'm working on death bed and this.

Austin Dultz try pushing harder on them. It hurts if you’re a beginner but it gets easier as long as you play consistently.
