That wd40 is going to collect a nice layer of dust.
That was my first thought. Like a bad tattoo, that's gonna look like SHIT later. lol
And rust lol
No !! The contrary it will protect against rust but it will collect more durt.
I own a 07 Dakota for 8 year's i use for work and every 3 or 4 months a spray the frame with WD 40 or fluid film.
Looks good.
I spent the extra money and powder coated my axles and everything else I pulled off.
how much did they charge you ?
Dude that was the best video I’ve seen when it comes to cleaning up the underbody!
Your next mod should definitely be Morimoto xb led headlights! It would transform the front of the truck.
Some Recon OLED taillights would look dope too.
beware guys do not do what this guy did. wd40 is to not be used like this and will cause some severe issues in the future. not only cosmetic issues but if it touches any painted surface it will destroy the paint over time....
It destroys everything from paint to rubber and plastic lol basically a acid.
learned this the hard way
Yep I totally agree. It ruined the paint job on my truck and the only reason his frame looks so good is because it’s not really rusted it’s still in good shape from the factory.
Awesome work. I do this to my vehicles as well. I’m in the northeast so we have road salt to deal with.
Dude you should at least wear a dust mask bare minimum when sanding rust. That shit is really bad for you, rust dust is no joke
Even a corona mask will do the job
Actually a better alternative to wd 40 is pledge funiture polish which you can also ise on your tires
Dam your truck looks so dam nice bro no lie badass truck
To the T! Told me what I was asking bro.. good video for sure. Bout to do the same to my 11 f250
Great work bro. Keep doing your thing 💪20/20
I went to a used car lot looking for a car, I looked under the hood of each car the owner of the lot sprayed WD -40 on everything under the hood it looked good until I started the car and the manifold started smoking and smelling. I can say it looked good when when you open the hood. Great video Stay Safe✌🏽
It's fine as long as you don't get any on the headers, but it sounds like they got a lot on the headers in your case
Danm, over time wd-40 will deteriorate hoses, and its super flammable. I wouldn't do it.
Perfect I’m doing my F150 🙏🏾
Do a detail video on cleaning the entire fleet. 🔥👍🏽❤️🤟🏽
That WD40 gon have yo ish catching 🔥
Do you feel this is better protecting from rust that a product like Surface shield or is it more about just looking good? Do you worry that WD40 is going to attract dust?
You’re implying that water displacement #40 will cause rust? Oil meant to prevent rust and shield against water will cause rust…? Lemme ask this. Where are you from and how old are you? 🤦♂️
Did you use the rust oleum spray or the krylon??? It looks really good I’m about to be doing mine!
lol that white is dried salt and ya want to wash it off and not spray wd-40 on your frame it will over time attack the paint it is more less kerosene me I would clean and just clear coat it or at worst use pledge spray wood wax dose not hurt paint gives wet look and make water bead off for awhile.
Dial back on the "mint" lol
most definitely a Florida problem. rust converter or naval jelly is your friend. do you have underglow and rock lights?
Isnt wd40 flammable?
Lilluhlee
Awesome video bro👏💪
Respect from Serbia❤
How do you keep the overspray from getting on the outside of the truck?
Damn that shit looking mint. 🔥🔥keep up the good work homie 🤙🏼
Good stuff brother🍻🤙🏽
W D 40 is water base it wont last very long should have used an oil base lubricant
Wd 40 will be a magnet for debris I wouldn't use that for my truck
Did you spray inside and outside of your brake rotor
Great job!
Truck looks sick bro, keep grinding and 🤝🤝💯💯
How much is the Undercarriage work, front to back cost, ballpark.
Great video.
Looks nice man. I want to do that with my truck soon. Striping the paint will it mess up any gaskets or seals
Awesome video thanks man!
no matter how well you want the undercarriage of your truck to look good, at the end of the day there will always be mud and grimes will make it to look rusty
Nice video Judah 💯💯
doesn't sanding and painting the drive shaft really unbalance it
Not unless you take a metal grinder and start actually taking metal off, sanding the surface rust isn’t going to affect it.
damn son looks good💪
This makes me want to clean up my whole suspension lol
Girls we got some work today...
Literally brand new
It Lilly looks so good lol
Lilluhlly
Wd-40 ? Wouldn't that attract dust for days
Make sure you wear eye protection and a mask 😷
Video shows how to half ass a frame paint job because you are too lazy to finish it...wd40 will collect dust and look like s.h.i.t
1 coat? Bruh is tryin to do this once a week lol
please use eye protection when using a wire brush!
I think I hear your mommy calling you in the background.
Have you tried Seymour paint I heard they are goo d
"Mint"
And the camera work is driving me craaaazy. So shaky and giving me a headache.
Nice F150 though!
You can tell how are the newbies in the comments section, talking about that the wd 40 will collect more rust 😂. Yes it will collect more durt but it will not rust the at all the properties of WD 40 will not allow it just like fluid film.
We need a update video on the Tacoma
Don’t worry lol . I’ve been filming everything over the months! Still trying to find a bed !
lol spraying wd40 is crazy
do another rebuild
Damm Bro...WD40 wow thanks Bro great job!
That wd40 will collect a ton of dirt and dust everywhere
Ummmmm.... hate to tell you that WD-40 dries up in just a couple days. But I'm sure you realized that by now. Yes, it is a lubricant and looks shiny at first. But that doesn't mean it will stay shiny forever...lol In just a couple days it will look the same as before you did it. So unless you're doing it to sell a vehicle, you just wasted time and money, Next time try using an exterior clear coat spray can. It will last a lot longer. But watch out for overspray on your truck. If you get that, then wipe the truck with Acetone to remove the overspray and wax it.
What Up men
WD40 would be good for like a meet or show...but soon as that thing hits dust its gonna look like hot garbage.
well, it started out as hot garbage...just now, after the wd40, it's shiny hot garbage. but hey, if you think ppl judge you by how shiny your lifted truck on 22s is; well then it's too late.
All you need to do now is restore the headlights !
On the way 🤘
Not restore but they sell led headlights that look more modern
gonna try wd40 on my 2011 frame
Pressure wash and degrease it first
what happen to his other house?
Getting a new shop
It’s to bad your doing all that work to a Ford 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
leederelee
What happened to you 45 acres?
Getting a new shop
Fuckin mintt😂
Wd40 is Actually a really good cleaner
Bro that DW-40 is clutch
No it was on the suspension. Close to the clutch but no quiet kid. It will destroy every thing it touches that isn’t metal moving parts. Plastic paint etc. it’s not a cosmetic “hack” 🤦♂️ it will be dried white and degrade the integrity of the exterior plastics. God forbid he get it on the paint.
First!
Got lazy on that tape job. If it wasn’t black spray paint you’d be In trouble lol
