Been playing the Pico 4 since launch replacing my Quest2. The Quest3 is basically the same machine. Pico store doesn't have many good games, but then again I mainly play SteamVR. The main reason for me going Pico is the frustration of using a VPN to log into the Oculus software from China. Overall, love my Pico and I'd definitely put money down on the next model if the upgrades are significant.
Pico 4 has some very good specs and has a great build for almost 1 year BEFORE the Quest 3, and they have some similarities. For me, the "out of the box" experience in Pico 4 is way better than Quest 3 because you don't get limited by creating accounts or linking to social media. You use Pico 4 the way you receive it and don't have limits for sideloading or modding the system or apps. And we can't stop talking about the battery strap that Pico makes it the default one. Both headsets are very good, very similar, but in my opinion, the Pico 4 wins.

You don’t have to link a social media account for the Meta Quest. They got rid of that almost 2 years ago. The Pico also don’t have a lot of the apps and games that the Quest has.
I have both the Quest and Pico 4. I bought my Pico 4 for only 14000 php (around 250USD) here in my country. I mainly use the Pico 4 for PCVR as it has better FOV and color is not as overly saturated vs the Quest. While my Quest is mainly for Standalone and some workout games due to its vast library.

@@patrickpatlonag1498 it was on sale in Lazada, last Feb limited time sale. That is why I immediately grabbed it. It only ran for a week.
@@patrickpatlonag1498 I got it from Lazada, it was a limited time offer last Feb. It was only posted for a month by GameXtreme and was somewhat a clearance thus I immediately purchased it. I just looked it up on their store and it is marked as Sold Out.

does the Pico 4 have its own system? like do i have to connect it to my PC or i can just straight up play it from the unboxing? because i am deiciding to buy it so i’m looking at reviews and because my PC isnt a high end PC so i am worried when i bought it and it cant run because of my PC
It can be used as a standalone headset just like the Quest. The store doesnt have as much choice but most of the big games are still available
If you’re still deciding you should get the quest 3, it’s more expensive yes, but pico 4 is mainly used as pcvr, at least for the best experience, quest has way more native games with higher quality, i say this as a pico 4 owner, games are lacking, but comfort is key for me at least
can you test the pico 4 pro?
I bought my Pico4 a year before the Quest3 and like both headsets. Standalone the Q3 is far better, but otherwise, for PCVR there is hardly any difference. I like my Pico4 a lot (like I like the Quest 3 as much).

At that point get quest 2. More freedom, more games.

I like all your videos but this is just a ripoff of the meta quest 2 and 3 together (no hate)
not really with the QUest 3 as this was released far earlier than the Quest 3. It may have been influenced by the Quest 2 a bit but as usual with Chinese products like the phone brands they have, they add a bit more features on top of the original.
Pico4 launched with pancake lenses a year before Quest3...
