You can not do that in the digital world, analogue could be cranked a certain way i miss those days. Daws and plugins emulation can not recreate that particular saturation. The analog converters were smoothing out the top end while in the digital world it makes it harsher.
Quick tip. NLS buss skews the stereo image to one side, place an MS matrix before and after the plugin so it works in mid side, you get all the benefits of the saturation but keep the stereo image.

@@Darkcharmaudio I meant a preamp. Apollo Twin is an audio interface but its not an analogue preamp. look at the bae1073. I have both the apollo twin and the bae1073 but you don't need to get these specific ones. but a proper preamp to buy high quality preamp if you're serious about recording
