I think a lot of kj or sentinel players in general have a specific setup that theyre used to in elo lower than high asc+, that they kinda just default towards and dont really think about intently like the mid setup with an early b main spot, maybe due to a weak mid hold in other games. I think bro just autopilots

Id recommend you take a look at his “Valorant guides” playlist on youtube, it has a lot of good videos for low & higher rated players including stuff about movement and peeking. Also he has “gold in 1 month” videos which are really worth checking out if youre stuck in bronze. But most importantly keep playing and having fun!
he's peeking with A and D, aim into the wall,aim head height and peek, the reason it looks "smooth" is because he's not making sound and moving only half a step instead of a full step were you give out noise
Pick a spot u suck at taking, visualize like the walls are see through, and aim at the next spot someone would be, Usually another corner. Practice what it feels like to be aiming at a corner through a wall and only using A+D to peek, do this in various spots and when you are then playing a game, you won't be trying to learn the peek while fighting someone with a team screaming in your ears :P

He shows his career on occasion on his videos, you can see that he actually goes negative often with reyna/iso, but sometimes he does carry (most likely because of his wacky gameplay and decision making, possibly making him really unpredictable at his rank)
