The spiritual discussion was my favorite part, it is evident that Josh has a spiritual foundation and the fact that Isi does not feel force by Josh to have a relationship with God but feels inspired to have a relationship with God because Josh do is beautiful. I agree on the laughter and communication part . My husband and I have been together for 40 years married for 35 and we still laugh together ( a lot) , still crack on each other’s parents and just lay there and talk for hours . He loves when I read a book and tell him the story .

I agree with not living with your SO until yall get married. I had the SAME rule and followed through with that promise to myself. Not saying there is anything wrong with not doing that, but I do think that it adds a level of security when you do and makes the transition easier.

It is s matter of what people want to do. A friend of mine told me that she only spent 5k on her wedding and cut a lot of "corners." My husband and I did just the same, and made out even. We decided to put more into the honeymoon and we loved every minute of it!
Looking back almost 11 years now, and as BEAUTIFUL as my wedding was, as beautiful as my dress was (for only $500), I would do it all over again.

Truly glad I came across yall's channel! I am a subscriber on Isi's individual channel and have been for a couple months now due to me being a "rookie" on my natural hair journey, I had instantly fell in love with her personality while learning new hair techniques. One night recently I came across yall's couple channel (Josh and Isi) and I've been even more in love with not only Isi but both of yall's energy individually and collectively as well! It's truly beautiful seeing not only a relationship whose age is similar to my own (college/post-college years) but more importantly an authentic, black, "in their bag" couple who are completely honest about the struggles within themselves and together and how they are learning/ growing from that everyday. Yall are just truly beautiful and praying for continual growth amongst yall both! Keep being my "Black Love" couple I love to watch! I respect you guys doing your relationship the way you feel is right and works for you guys. I live with my partner for a lot of reasons but I can see the appeal and benefits of not living together. Take your time to get engaged/married. Only you know when the right time is for you and you're right there's so much that goes into a marriage and building a life together. There's no rush. My ex and I broke up because I felt as if we weren’t vibing with each other. When I addressed him about it he didn’t think there was an issue, we continued until we literally just drifted apart. He still wasn’t willing to work on the issue, that in itself ruined our relationship.

I love you guys loads, but please remember that you are making a commitment to EACH OTHER before moving in together or getting engaged- it isn't just Josh being responsible for making a commitment to Isi - In ref to the 'do you live together' question. Please remember this is a 2 sided 50/50 journey because I notice sometimes that women can get caught up in feeling that they have to be won, when actually both of you are a prize to be won. Please don't feel I'm coming for you Isi, but you speak equality often, but sometimes it does not feel like that is what is always happening, the way you speak and how it appears at times can seem like the relationship is more centered around you. Again please don't feel offended because I think you guys are great and have the potential to last 10 lifetimes, but as someone a little older who has been in your position with a good genuine guy - they do eventually tire of having to lean to you significantly more than you lean to them, and I say this after watching nearly all of your videos - not just this one- because I do love you guys, but it is something that I have noticed more than a few times. You do not have to agree but maybe its just something to consider. I wish you only love, peace and longevity xx
