Port at the top is open. I will leave the tent for a week at a time and it is perfectly fine. Plants at the to shelf dry faster becauze they are closer to the fam and its warmer up there. I just leave them a little tray with a quarter inch of water to make sure they sre alright

Do you have a fresh air intake? I work out of town so home 1 day a week. And is the exhaust port closed at top or is the hot air vented
