This message is to me, what it is to catch a thief in action 🤭. The pastor of the church that I attend is back from a travel and would like to see me at church today, but I got a colleague of mine who lost her father. I have chosen to assist my colleague, I feel so convicted and guilty right now. 🤭 I repent!!!

Would it be alright if I posted a clip of this on Instagram? About a 3-4 minute stretch where he talks about rejecting other believers who differ with us on certain things and Martin Luther/Ulrich Zwingli at the Marburg Colloquy?

    "Discipleship (Luke 9:49-62)"
(Sorry for the VERY long "comment". But I believe it NEEDS to be espoused)
Kind belated Sir...in your "foreword" you wrote this...
"True disciples of Christ may stumble, they may lose resolve from time to time, but their face is set in one direction: to finish the course of following Him."
Dear belated Sir, you are too light on Jesus' Disciples! IE:
First: these are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon, also known as Peter, and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed him. Second...
Where are the "writings" of these disciples in the bible? Andrew, Phillip, Bartholomew, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon Cananaean and Judas. What did they ever do; that is in history? Huh?
Why just Mathew, John and his brother James? Huh?
And why did a NON disciple of Jesus named "Paul;" wrote 13 books in the NT? Huh? I'll tell you why he became the greatest "Messenger" of Jesus; there has EVER been! For even John was far less than the "wisdom" of Paul. Why?
Because Jesus' patience died out; with those 10* rascals (so-called disciples). So He took the meanest, egotistical and arrogant Jew; and made him into the most "righteous" man ever; except "Abraham" and "Moses". plus, Paul IS the most quoted writer since Creation in ANY genre' of writing! May Jesus rest his precious soul.
End of Story and I rest me case...
...In any case brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always.
    * NOT even James (the brother of John) because He preached; that one MUST "work" and not just "Faith"; to be saved. Thus, not even he realized what Jesus really meant. But Paul set him straight; when he said, "NO works play a role in Salvation" OSAS! AMEN!
Believe it or not! May Jesus have mercy on James; and all the other disciples; that never understood Jesus' truth. And that satan's "template goes for 99% of the Pastors ever since. Sad, but OH so True!

you are implying that the other apostles weren’t inspired, but merely gave their own opinion, however this is not the case
First, the authors of the New Testament viewed each other’s writings as Scripture. This suggests that they believed that divine authority had been given to them by Jesus. Paul writes in 1 Timothy 5:18, “For the Scripture says, ‘You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,’ and,‘The laborer deserves his wages.’” The second quote is not found anywhere in the Old Testament, and the Greek phrase that Paul uses matches exactly the phrase in Luke 10:7. So, Paul considered Luke’s Gospel to be Scripture, on equal level with the Old Testament, since he quotes them both in the same line.
this also proves that the apostle Paul is referring to both the writings of the old and New Testament in 2 Timothy 3:16, 17.
Peter considered Paul’s letters to be Scripture. He writes, “And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures” (2 Peter 3:1516). Peter clearly states in this passage that Paul’s letters are counted among the rest of the Scriptures. This is significant since earlier in the letter, Peter wrote that the readers should remember “the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles” (2 Peter 3:2). Peter is saying that the Lord gives commands through the apostles. Since Peter is an apostle, he is implying that the Lord gives commands through him.
see also one Corinthians 15: one - 11 where the apostle Paul mentions most of the apostles, and even says that he is the least of the apostles.
lastly, James is not at all contradicting the teachings of the apostle Paul in Rom 1:16-17; 3:22-28; 4:5; 10:9-10; Eph 2:8-9. He is giving the opposite side of the same truth. He is showing that true faith and good works are inseparable - so united that what can be said of one may be said of both together. He is teaching what Paul himself taught in Rom 2:7-10; Gal 5:6; Eph 2:10; Titus 2:14. And what the Lord Jesus taught in Matt 7:21, 24-27; 25:35-43.
now I also rest me cases, may The Triune God, The true God of the Bible, bless you and open your eyes to the truth.

To reject the Son is to reject the Father who sent him, to reject the Apostles is to reject the Son who sent them.

The "Lord´s Recovery" or "Local Church" erroneously teaches that God approves of only one way to establish a valid church. They claim there should be only one church per city, like there was in the 1st century: the church in Ephesus, the church in Corinth, so today - the church in Los Angeles, the church in London. Anything else is a division and not blessed by God.
