I love the first 5 DANZIG albums and a few songs from the later ones. "Devil's Plaything" is one of ma favorites.
All produced by Rick Rubin. Best stuff. Great cover
@@Robot666House like Glenn said in various interviews, the first was the only one produced by Rubin. With the others, he only showed up shortly in the studio and gave a go or no-go. The engineers and the band did the job.
The fifth one is the worst one 🤢 5 is worse than the misfits project 1950 💀

This song and I am the one are my top songs from Danzig I have 3 Misfits tapes on 8 track lol. All his music is top notch. Danzig's music brought kids together when there were many street wars going on in the Cincinnati area in the 80's. Great cover by the away

For a “dumb” song, you sure gave it a mighty swing… I love this song. I liked where you were going with it - I just wish you’d gone all the way… I can clearly see you’ve got it in you to commit. Sometimes, a song is not just about the easy chords and the (admittedly) puerile lyrics… this song itself has something primal and magical in it. With that voice of yours, I wish you’d gone there without judgement… this could’ve been something really special. No slight on your talent (that’s obvious and undeniable). But just showing respect for a song that you’re covering would’ve brought a whole new dimension to it.

one my friends talking about danzig and telling me its stupid ect i respect his choice to not like but hey whatever i like it and dont care i just bought two lps samhain after talking to him to add to my collection.. still friends too who cares if someone dont like a artist and calls it bad art. art is individual so dont be a poser and listen to what others like be yourself because music is the one thing in the world that no two people can go 100% agree on.
