Tbh, it allowed us to ti see the curl definition better. If it was shorter + fuller looking, I don’t think it’d have been as visable
@@FaithsStardust yes it would have lol. A shape would have made it more aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and her curl definition would still be there. Check out Black Girl Curls on RUclips or Instagram. They have tonnnsss off models with short hair that is just as or more defined than this example. Nothing against curl mix i love them but just saying a shape would have made a world of difference. But maybe the client didn’t want that at this time 🤷🏾♀️

I have this type of 4b/4c hair - low density, thin and fine. Believe me, this type of hair is NOT 4a. It is kinky, not really curly and high porosity BUT because the hair is thin and fine, you get a different result than thicker, low porosity 4b/4c hair. 4b/4c hair comes in a lot of varieties.

@@konpeitosama it is 4c. People are just not used to see defined 4c hair that is moisturized the way it should be. Look up “Maximum Hydration method on 4c hair”
@@jasabella4444 No its just not 4c hair at all. All she did was put water on it & it defined instantly, her hair texture isn't that tightt & even before she started her hair doesn't look 4c. Dried up looking hair does not make you 4c.
@@PullOverItsDaPopo Right. A lot of people think they have 4c hair because of how it looks when it's dry. Her hair when wet does not look like Starpuppy, Joy-el or Latoya ebony. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head but yeah.

No it's not. I think it's become the default type to claim when someone doesn't understand their hair very well or it's dry and damaged. People will watch and think that they will get the same results. It looks like low density 4b/a. Also, her hair badly needed shaping. The style they left it in highlighted how thin it is.

Yup looks thin and way too much product. Her hair was dehydrated from the start so she needed a deep conditioner first. Would have made the curls pop better and not needed to load them with so much sticky product. Not a complete Fail- but definitely not the best results. 😕
Right? I can do all these steps and my actual 4c hair will not come close to this. People should understand that when dry and undefined, most natural hair look the same.
I think it is 4c, but high porosity, fine and low density thereby looking 4a/4b.
Because hair typing isn't useful and nobody really knows which hair is 4c anyways. It doesn't even help you learn how to take care of your hair anyways

@zestu82 there are shipping and holding companies in the US that will purchase the products you need and then ship them to the UK. I use on called Planet Express to send me hair products from the US. There are other companies too such as Shipito.

@@yellej3314 starpuppy doesnt Stretch her wash and go’s tho. And starpuppy finger coils hers so it would make her coils look tighter. The method they used in this video is very different then starpuppys. One thing I noticed is that a lot of 4c naturals don’t stretch there wash and go’s so of course it’s gonna look tighter then the ones who do
