Honestly I watched this video thinking it was similar to metal virus, but then by the end I realized sonic wasn’t covered in a weird substance, he was covered in blood. I REALLY need to read this comic-
There is something DEEPLY unsettling about seeing Sonic...BE Sonic while absolutely DRENCHED in blood and gore. Like...oof. It would be different if he was horrified or repulsed by it like Shadow but....seeing him just act completely normal? Oh nah that would be nightmare fuel.
It's like he's somehow less aware of it. Or still somewhat in a trance. And then he does notice it on him. But somehow he doesn't realize he's covered in it till later. It's definitely strange.

I read the comic and here's the lowdown in case anyone doesn't care about spoilers. Shadow and Rouge went to go investigate a cave that was giving off EMP signals. They entered what looked like a hive and Shadow fell below the depths. His presence awakened something that was left behind by the Black Aliens, and it infected Shadow. When he woke up, Rouge recounted the words Shadow was saying in the Black Army's language, and that's how we got here. His mind faded as he likely went feral and attacked Rouge. I don't know what happened with Sonic.
There's something deeply disturbing and alluring at the same time seeing cute antropomorphic characters exploring horryfing plots and themes. Fantastic voice acting!

The art is REALLY GOOD! But I honestly think the story telling could be a little bit better, couldnt Sonic just disarm everyone? I know he is handcuffs, but those are just plain old police officer handcuffs that are not even tying his hand behind his back or in a way thas makes him impossible to react.
