    Bare Minerals has bismuth oxychloride so if you use any type of retinoids, you’re skin will itch. I love the coverage but it causes breakouts and itching for me.

      Bismuth makes me breakout unfortunately. Even without using retinoids ☹

    Thank you for this!! I think its so cool you are taking your time to put this type of content out for people to see. sometimes people don't have access to a dermatologist so this is such a nice alternative. I appreciate you! And you are very pretty lol I will continue to watch your content. Sending you love and blessing from the Pacific Northwest!

    Girl. I needed you lmao. I’m going to be 35 this year and my face is just revolting against my makeup. I have teenage acne again around my mouth and down on my chin. My nose is oily and the blackheads! I’ve always struggled with my T zone but this chin acne is driving me nuts. Anything I try is creasing under my eyes throughout the day and then my concealer wears off on my zits and looks gross and dry. I’m a hot mess. I used to be totally on it with my makeup and since I’ve turned 34 it just went to hell. Long winded way of saying thank you for sharing your knowledge and please make a lil video to help us “mid millennials” find anti aging but also acne products/makeup 😩❤️😅

    Bare Minerals products have always made me break out so badly. Due to this, which foundations would you recommend instead? I have used Jane Iredale successfully for years but looking to try something new.

    I don’t want to use a foundation that already has salicylic acid in it because some people like me uses retinoids or other harsh ingredient for acne. I feel people who have sensitive skin should not use too many acne use ingredients since it could cause further skin irritation and acne.

  • @christinaobert5664
    @christinaobert5664 3 года назад +5

    So to be sure...only mix your sunscreen with the Dermablend? Because I've always been told to never mix anything with my sunscreen because it can dilute it and make the spf way less or inactive.

    • @riveraspen2745
      @riveraspen2745 3 года назад +2

      I also use my sunscreen to lighten my foundation sometime. I also, wear a wide brim daily so I don't have to worry about the reapplying and having sun exposure so the diluting won't matter

    • @DrSheilaDerm
      @DrSheilaDerm  3 года назад +1

      It does dilute but ok to mix as long as reapplying :)

    Instead of holding your brushes up to dry you should probably hang them upside down you know, so the water and bacteria doesn’t collect inside the brush base
