      @@3dkiller no I said high. Therefore, I think you are not reading correctly.
      I have a RTX 2080ti, 3090 and 4090 and can max everything out. But I still advocate for people who want to buy lower end gpus.
      Ultra settings are not for regular play. They are for people with higher end gpus "traditionally". The same people who are spitting out 1080p is too high for 8gb of VRAM are in some cases the same ones who previously said Ultra is for screen shots mainly.
      8gb VRAM is a very old resolution now. We've easily been playing at that resolution with less VRAM.
      Now because console game publishers don't want to pay for proper ports to PC and AMD wants you to buy their old GPUs facts should be ignored?
      No. 8gb VRAM is enough to make a game run fine on high and Ultra. It's been done hundreds of times.
      With Ai scaling it should be even easier to make textures look great at lower resolutions. We have more tools than ever today. And those who made games before us.

    -Is the bottleneck caused by the 5600x that big?
    - Does the 7600x offer any boost in performance for the 4060TI? And if it does, is that boost worth the extra money?

      What I have noticed about GPU bottleneck is that a lot of times with more modern processors it only happens at high fps, if your monitor only supports 75 hz like mine, than it's no problem, but if you want to run it at 120 fps, it could be a slight problem. You would probably be fine with a mid tier, modern processor.

    I would say the RTX 4060Ti 16GB is the upper end of what you can reasonably buy for 1080p gaming. Performance is good enough to allow you to skip 2 generations, same for the amount of VRAM. In 4 years or more you won't max out games anymore anyway cause demand to the raw performance will have increased so much that a 4060Ti won't be able to deliver decent Fps anymore in that case. But playing games at 1080p medium to high settings will still be viable and for that 16GB might not be needed but more than 8 surely I'd say.

      There's no way a 1080ti is punching at anything even vaguely like the same weight as a 4060ti, even without DLSS 3.0 and frame generation, a 4060ti completely blows it away. I should know I have a gaming rig with 1080ti, as well as one that had, up until a few days ago, a 2070 super in it. Again, even without DLSS the 2070 super blew away the 1080ti, the 4060ti now blows away the 2070 super.

      You can see the reduction in quality only if you have a terrible framerate to begin with. For e.g if you are already having 60 fps and want a high refresh rate experience, you can enable fg and not notice a difference at all, but anything below 48 or 30 fps before turning fg on, you will see artifacts.

    en jeu de vitesse tu peux réduire la qualité des ombres au plus bas mais garder les couche d'ombre tu vas gagner entre 5 et 15 fps et pareil la qualité des nuage volumétrique, mais que en jeu de vitesse. parce que cette qualité est invisible donc inutile de garder des config maximum et gourmande. au vous allez vite passé à 100fps constant voir plus. certaine options peuvent complètement même être désactivé et vous n'aurez aucun changement sauf au départ du jeu. mais votre niveau de fluidité et de qualité visuel sera la même qu'avec une grosse carte graphique.

    • @GameCookerUSRocks
      @GameCookerUSRocks Год назад +3

      @@MrTranzformer1 Not sure who your message is directed at but I clearly stated RT. But there is nothing wrong with using DLSS or FG since that can take a GPU or CPU beyond it's capabilities. Or game. However you want to look at it.
      GPUs have limits. Adding more VRAM doesn't change that. The 4060ti 16gb proves that. I said that all along. But the AMD marketing goons just keep spouting lies and misinformation.
      Furthermore, simply lowering resolution should not be the only option. DLSS adds value since the quality of the picture stays nearly the same as native when using it and you get a decent boost in frame rate.
      I have many RTX GPUs all the way up to a 4090. So I think I know what I'm talking about.
