I'm watching this rather unusually loaded video presentation from the United States, and loving it. Although many of these massive federal infrastructure projects across the nation were initiated long ago by previous administrations, it's heartwarming that the Tinubu administration has not only doubled down on their execution, but has in fact, expanded their scope and spread into a massive federal infrastructure master plan the full and faithful implementation of which will undoubtedly catapult Nigeria into the top tier of developing economies, not just regionally in Africa, but globally as well. I'm pleasantly surprised that President Tinubu whom I had little faith in during the last presidential election, is not only thinking this BIG but delivering this BIG as well. Something has definitely awakened this hitherto slumbering African giant to take it's rightful place and lead the pack. And I say, why not, it's her manifest destiny. Great job Ozed, and thanks for sharing. I couldn't be more proud for being a Nigerian.
It is politics that made opposition politicians to down play Tinubu and make him look as if he is not competent. Most of us who knew Lagos before 1999 and knew what he left behind wanted him badly. This was a governor-elect in 1999 setup a committee to look into Lagos past and present and design a development plan for Lagos future. Before he was sworn in, the committee came up with MASTER PLAN report to turn Lagos into a Mega city. The committee also used UN and WORLD BANK recommendations into the planning. A 25-Year Development plan was submitted. Immediately after swearing in, he started implementation with data gathering in all Ministries of Lagos State. I participated in data gathering as a Consultant. He used a year to do all that. He computerised Lagos and all the 20 LGAs. He brought ORACLE to Lagos by building Oracle Data Center where all information are stored, processed and managed. Tinubu re-engineered Lagos Finance and design a new model for revenue generation. In first month he improved IGR from N600m to N2b. From that point, Lagos IGR keeps looking up. Today, Lagos generates over N50b monthly. Since the Lagos master plan is 25 years development plan. He knew that he can only use 8 years out of the 25, he raised good successors to continue with the implementation of the plan. He raised governors like Fashola, Ambode and now Sanwo-Olu who always win best Governors Award. Tinubu will change the face of politics by the time he's leaving office in 2031 by the grace of God.
@@olumuyiwaojo3532 Actually my interest in him grew when I realized the west and America would do anything to bring him down especially with that drug scandal. Do you know that till today some people do not know that the CIA already said that the drug certificate were from when Tinubu worked under cover for the CIA. But then they released it when it was time for election. Decades after the incident even though he had visited America based on invitation after he left office as governor. Apparently if America of the West hates a particular head of State it's because such person is out of their control and such people are visionary leaders that the West use to bring down by using their people against them. Take Gadafi and Yakubu Gowon for exam. They both had a dream for something big and both of them had to deal with rebels. Yakubu ended the war right after Ojukwu fled but the west still tagged him as a tyrant, a dictator and a bad leader. Till date he is still one of the head of States that developed Nigeria
Nigeria gained independence in 1960 and became a Republic in 1963. The naira was introduced on 1 January 1973, replacing the Nigerian pound at a rate of £1 = ₦2. That is: £1 = ₦2 = $2 on 1 January 1973. Today: £1 = ₦1,552.74 = $1.23 on 21 January 2025 This is how you measure which direction a country is going, not by some ridiculous monuments designed to distract an unsophisticated shiny object-chasing population.
We need cars built CNG-perfect from day one and not converted. Once again, this is a great video. Please also do an industrialization video about factories, processing plants for minerals, and agricultural produce.
Brazil has probably the world's largest CNG driven vehicles, 99% are converted. The vehicles manufacturers in Brazil do not build with CNG right from zero KM. Fiat Brazil tried it for about 4 years and abandoned it, because people find it cheaper to convert than buying new car with that option. Actually no car goes 100%CNG , you still need at least 10% gasoline/petrol in the vehicles. Electric cars are driven 100% with electric engines, it is not the case with CNG vehicles. There are CNG conversion centers at every corner of Brazilian cities. Mind you, you must come down from the car while they fill the CNG because there are chances of the gas cylinder exploding. So CNG driven cars also do explode once a while.
There is difference btw aesthetic infrastructure and economic infrastructure. Economic infrastructure, Lagos alone beats Kenya, Ethopia, Ghana, Angola, Tanzania etc one on one.
