I disagree with your thoughts on 15:00 minutes and onwards. Reason being the solution you are giving is based on the perception and mindset of a person in his 30’s, I can understand as I am in my mid thirties as well and priorities change with age and maturity. Pakistani mindset especially when they are 19 or 20 is that they think from emotions not practicality hence asking the guy to be as practical as you are suggesting to be might break their relationship which otherwise can be a good relationship as they grow older and more mature together.
what you are trying to suggest is that he should waste 5/6 hours of a day just for the sake of a good relationship and should not think about contributing anything valuable to the society
