  • AC to DC Circuits using Bridge diode and Capacitor - Full wave Bridge Rectifier - 12V Center tapped transformer
    In this tutorial I will explain how to make full wave bridge rectifier using several diodes and capacitors. I will explain three major AC to DC rectification circuits that you can hook up with your center tapped transformer. Also, I will demonstrate some of common types of transformers, diodes and their role at the beginning of this video.
    Electronic Components Required:
    1) AC-DC Rectifier Circuit No:1
    4700uF 50V Capacitor x4
    6A Diodes x4
    (Circuit Diagram was included in the video)
    2) AC-DC Rectifier Circuit No:2
    2200uF 50V Capacitor x1
    6A Diode x2
    (Circuit Diagram was included in the video)
    3) AC-DC Rectifier Circuit No:3

    You can increase for a moment the voltage..but if you use this is going down immediately..
    If you connect the transformer in series, Can get more voltage, ...excellent job..thanks a lot..!!!

      Or may be 1 capacitor,
      I use one capacitor in 12 0 12, 5A with value of 4700uf 25v
      Please tell the difference

    When you have a 24 volt center tap at 26 amps what size diodes are needed and should you use Schottky Diodes or does it matter? To smooth it out even more should we use a resister between the neg and pos?

    Is there posibility that I can get ride of my 4pin ignition module inside my distributor? Basicaly how much I did understand my ignition coil is useing dc pulse right ?but I need to safty change polarity to my coil for experimental porpuse . So wuld just simpel variabel capacitor do the same thing like my ignition module with out tranzistor? Do there exist tranzistors that are not polarity senzitive? I have goal to make dual ignition with thing I have not to buy them but I want to some how use that pick up coil bouth terminals to fire 2 seperate ignition coil wuld dual 5 pin relays do the trick to change my coil polarity? Fiering sequenc looks like this +-,-+,++,--. So what culd I use to make somthing similar to that? My distributor does not realy suports dual fuering ore dual trigers so I have problem there .

    I'm confused. So the ground on the first one goes between the 4 Caps. Is the chassis of the transformer not ground? Is it ground as in earth?
    I thought the cap just goes over the +/- of the output.

      From what I learned on my bench capacitors don't do anything to the voltage. Not without resistors in combination. You need a resistor capacitor circuit (RC) in order to change the voltage. If you plan on doing anything with audio amplifiers I highly recommend you to do research on filters for cleaning up the power outputs even further than just the output caps. Thats the purpose of the capacitors. They really don't do anything as far as change voltage according to the theories/physics laws within electricity except the dreaded leaking of the dialectic. If you look up Ohms law you can find a lot of formulas to change the voltage but, remember you need to convert the number back to voltage once you done the circuit analysis in your design.
      .
      AC in America is 115v at 60Hz which means if you don't filter that out enough you will hear the 60Hz in your audio mix which may drive you crazy if your trying to get a clean signal thats not a distorted guitar effect. Also always keep in mind safety first. Never wear metal jewelry or work with both hands on a live circuit. You do not want to be touching it while its being tested live if you can set it up before power is on..

    that's a very harsh way of discharging those electrolytic capacitors. rather connect a 10watt 10ohm resistor across the anode and cathode to discharge safely

    В БЛАГОДАРНОСТЬ ИЗУЧЕНИЕ блока питания размеры разные модели малолетних доходность мощность постоянно обновляется питание, описания схема просто не очень хорошо понимаю что это такое, я огpомное могу сразу установить новую версию 3 трансформатор 12 выпрямитель диодов предлагает ввести предохранитель отдельно автоматически выключатели что чем больше маловато грамоты собрать слабовато.

      Сначала мы должны знать, какое напряжение постоянного тока требуется. и какой ток требуется. возьми трансформатор на 1.25 больше мощности. например, чтобы сделать 24 VDC Out положить. Требуется выходное напряжение = (24 + 1,4) 1,414 = 18 В переменного тока, используйте трансформатор 18 В переменного тока. но если напряжение в вашем доме меньше (менее 230 В), вы должны учитывать это также потому, что трансформатор 18 В переменного тока будет давать меньшую выходную мощность, если входное напряжение меньше 230 В переменного тока. пожалуйста

Sortie alternative requise = (24 + 1,4) 1,414 = 18 VCA utiliser un transformateur 18 VAC. mais si la tension d'alimentation de votre maison est inférieure (inférieure à 230 V), vous devez également tenir compte de ce fait, car le transformateur 18 Vca donnera une sortie inférieure si l'entrée est inférieure à 230 VCA.
