This has become a favorite thing to do for me on youtube. Every month or so checking Neom progress videos on youtube and always finding the same. Breathless hype pitch, cg footage and a few blink and you miss it seconds of a ditch in the desert. Such exciting progress, really revolutionary.
Shame they forgot to mention how much most of the projects scaled back and failing already

@@bdaryaljmy8108 That's yet to be seen. The projects are a long way out and it will take a long time to make the money back. I'd personally focus a lot more on infrastructure for the average person and not just for the mega rich. And put a good chunk of money into an index fund or something.

Dreams when untampered by reality are just that... empty images in your head. There is no reality in these dreams.
For instance, why build a city in the shape of a line on one of the world's most inhospitable pieces of land. No access to food, water. The nearest city incredibly far. No port resources, and what they're calling the Port of Neom is far from the site.
The hyperloop is scraped, but to serve this "city" in under 20 minutes as has been proposed would take a train going faster than the speed of sound and subject passengers to significant G forces.
Neom is a nightmare that I hope your people can wake up from.

That's great, but 15 destinations are few. I live in a wooded area in the north. Even here in summer, no one goes out until evening. So it is not difficult to predict that people will not walk in open spaces. Build more tourist buildings close together in the area and afforeste the area. Also build a bridge with corn. Every part of the bay is a tourism area.

- How the Line should be supplied with food, water and electricity, especially at the inland end?
- What is the budget? How much will the Line cost to build?
- Who would live there? It would be 20-25% of the Saudi Arabian population?
- How would all or indeed any part of the Line be finished by 2030?

It can't be corrupted, as the Quran said Allah made the righteous factions of Isa uppermost and protected Isa's message. Plus, our Bible is directly affirmed by manuscripts from many centuries before the Quran. Infact, authentic Islamic hadith (Sahih al-Bukhari 4987) report that Uthman destroyed several of the ahruf and reconsolidated it into one which he edited, which is undeniably corruption. We Christians worship the one true triune God, YHWH.
