You are a brave man, Daniel. I believe your determination, strength, and faith, are gifts from God that you consistently share with each one of us. Thank you, and God bless you.

I just ran across this video, because we visited Terceira the last two weeks of October and finally got a picture of PICO! I, too, am a born again Christian and I love, loved! this video! On my husband’s and my trip God answered so many prayers for us, too. Like allowing Rex ( my husband) to get to scuba dive three times. He saw an octopus and a giant stingray. And I got to snorkel 4 times and I saw an Octopus too! We hiked, drove, saw cows, drove over to Serreta…..well, anyways, it was our first time back in 44 years. In the late 70’s, we lived there as children when my dad was stationed at Lajes Field and his dad was a Christian missionary to the military. I was there when the big earthquake hit in 1980 but we left in June of that year.
God was so good to clear the sky for you! I would love to hike Pico someday!

Wow! That's so awesome! I read your comment to my wife and she says she was living in Terceira also when the earthquake hit. She was only 2 and her parents had just moved back to Terceira with their 3 children, coming from the US. My father in law was in the military as well at Lajes, and worked for a few years as a diplomat in the US. What a small world :)
I'm so happy that you got to experience and enjoy Terceira with your husband after so many years!! And that you saw so many answered prayers 🙏🏽 God is so good to us ✝️
I recently edited a video of our last trip to Terceira, in June 2023 👉 ruclips.net/video/Do6Nrorojdo/видео.htmlsi=-IEwZ9Sh7rv91-Vn
On the same trip we visited Pico and spent a day in S. Jorge island as well (probably will put that one out someday).
Thank you so much for your feedback and testimony. God bless you and keep you close to Jesus 🦋

My husband and I walked to the crater of the only active volcano in Vanuatu on Tanna Island in 2001. It was a jungle path and smooth going, led by a10 year old, machete bearing child. Just the 3 of us. The side of the volcano where we stood at the top was like a drum. I will never forget it. I have photos of the ash side of the mountain that we were driven over in a the back of a pickup when we arrived. We stayed there in grass hut for a month 4 km from the volcano!

WOW! That must have been such an awesome experience 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Thank you for sharing that with me 🤗 I was impressed to see smoke coming out of the rock in two different places at the top!! I love to feel so tiny and understand how great is my God ✝

@@crucified4mePeople have been killed by debris from this volcano, and there was continual smoke and bursts of glowing ash, but was just some smoke when we went. Tanna is a remote southern island, small. Mount Yasur is the volcano as far as I remember if you look it up. Now we have both looked into a volcano! Btw, we lived on the other side of the island 2 more months by sea swimming every day and living among the natives and they dressed in clothes, not naked.
