I listened to an interview with Paul Landers, the band's rhythm guitarist and he said that when they were singing Sehnsucht, American fans thought that they were singing chainsaw. He was totally bewildered by it, bless him. I love the whole Volkerball set of performances. Raw, powerful and the fans are 100% invested. Great stuff.
Such a classic...one of my all time faves! Rammstein does offer special b4 concert meets and such for disabled fans. I think I have actually seen video of an audience lifting a young man in his wheelchair...gosh, wish I could remember what concert that was...
Moin! 😎 "Sehnsucht" was the first Song I heard by Rammstein and it blew me away with its Sound and musical heaviness! "Sehnsucht" is about a strong feeling of longing and desire. Ultimately, the Song is about the Idea that no matter how hard you search, no matter where you turn, true happiness and fulfilment will always remain out of reach.
Seinsucht was the first Rammstein song I heard back in 1999. Great reaction, as always. Do you remember when I recomended you to listen to Brothers of Metal the first time? That you *had* to listen to them! Another band you will love, and will make suesue running around with drumsticks are *Nanowar of Steel* you *must* listen to their song *Valhaleluja* Get prepared for a good laugh my friends. ❤🇸🇪👍
I say the same, this band isn't meant to be translated.. When you read the lyrics in English they make no sense but to hear the words in German, and along with the music... It's an incredibly beautiful thing...
The location where the concert took place is an old Roman amphitheater in southern France. The Romans would certainly have liked it because they loved big spectacles. . At the current concerts, the audience is older, as the band has also gotten older. At the concert in Madison Square Garden in New York in 2010, Till's mother was in the audience. She had a place with the technicians.
Hi Suesue & Wolfman... please react to an older R+ song "Klavier" (Piano) live in Berlin 1998, an beautiful, dark and very emotional song... sure you will love it
Moin, meine Freunde !!!! 🥰 Bei Rammstein gibt es immer Gratis Daumen hoch 😇😂 Moin Moin is said in the morning and only one Moin is said any time of day as hello

I became a Rammstein fan through the song Engel, but Sehnsucht was the first song I heard over and over again.
Me too, first Rammstein song I neard
Till uses a lot of metaphors, symbolism and innuendo in songs. So the lyrics can easily go over people's heads if you take em literally
I imagine that even English people don't understand Shakespeare so easily. But Till only uses words from the 19th century. So relatively young.

One of Till Lindemann's first erotic poems with "tourism" and "topography" of the woman's body.
Love your reactions! Greets from Auerbach in Bavaria!❤️

This bass line is impresive
Yes, it is truly remarkable. But I think the band knows what they have in him. There is no doubt about that.
In German there is a saying „Finger im Po Mexiko“.
Which translates to „Finger in the butt, mexico“.
No one filming în the crowd !? Wow great

A Rammstein song with sexual overtones? Huh… I like this one a lot actually.
It is about sex, or a longing about a sexual relationship that is about to expire. This is how I get it…
too much fun us people are scared of sadness ?so american its black or white? goog guy or bad guy ?
I think you´re ready for Buck Dich 🙃
I don't know...
Nah, they won't like it I don't think. It would just be awkward
