My Dad had his own business processing microfilm, and was a photographer with his own darkroom in the basement. He had some of those machines. I still have a few of his cameras, including the folding camera from the giant wood carving and the one sitting by itself. This video was incredibly nostalgic for me. Thanks buddy!
Thanks for your great comment, Mike. As a photographer who learned the basics in a college darkroom, it was indeed awesome to see the Tableau of vintage enlargers and trays with chemicals for photography printing.
Thanks. I never really got into the technical side of things. I worked at his office downtown on and off over the years, and I'll never forget how the place smelled.
Hi there i thought that was one the best places you have shown us thank you so much . I think you could go through the ARTISAN works again and see something different each time i really love everything you show us xoxoxo
Congratulations 🎉👏👏 Jacob!!! To own the entire house all by yourself is a great championship 🏆 feat!!! It will be a wonderfully liberating feeling to accomplish such a fantastic goal, especially as you have been living the nomadic life!!! A home base is a nice secure feeling as you continue travelling throughout your nomadic existence!!! Quadruple Attaboys, Carpetbagger!!!👍☮️✝️👏🎉🏆🥳😎🤠💥🎊💫
GREAT 👍 VLOG Jacob TCB! I love how much you loved the art and oddities at ARTISAN Works galleries in Rochester, New York. Really cool sculptures, tableaus and interesting conceptual works.
Very cool place, Artisan Works!!! All the Kodak memorabilia n the awesome taxidermy n the original art pieces - there are sooo many things to see you could go back often n still miss things!! Great video!!!
I lived in Rochester for awhile the art scene is definitely alive and well some other places worth checking out are; Martin Luther King jr Park downtown right across the street from the children's museum, also there's a huge butterfly house on that same corner, the George Eastman museum is a must visit, the ROC public library and the Seneca park zoo were some of my favorite places to visit upstate
Six hours in a cue to buy a Disney pass on the phone, Wow! Reminded me why I have never gone to Disney as I have no desire to wait incredible lengthy times to go on a ride. God bless people like you that have incredible patience to deliver such great content.
Loved this video, what a place, you could spend hours. A true hidden gem, I had no idea this existed, thank you Jacob I will definitely be checking this place out!
What a place! Very interesting. As to your pass, Jacob your take on places like amusement parks are certainly not the average overdone Disney videos...good for you in achieving something you wanted to do. And the house too. It'll be great for you to have a place where you're not continuously having to live out of the carpet bag!
Artisan works is awesome! There is art hanging from the ceilings all over the walls you never know where to look. If you don't already have ADHD, you will by the time you leave. Hehe!
oh boy!! some good and exciting news! i'm glad for you carpetbagger, can't wait to see more adventures with you! i love your vids and all the fun places you go too!
Thank you for pointing out that photography was once a genuine art form. Today, Everyone with a camera thinks they’re an artist, but this is outrageous, of course.
The “Brownie” is a sort of elf but I’m guessing the connection is because it was the name and mascot of one of the earliest popular consumer cameras made by Kodak! :)
Someone had asked Bob Iger in the last stockholder's meeting call whether he would bring back the annual pass to get into both Disney World and Disneyland, and he said basically that they figured it was not worth it to the company. I do like your Disney videos since they are uniquely different from other vloggers. You seem to point out those off-the-beaten-path places/shops in the parks. You do not just ride rides and eat food.
Wow this video was awesome here's a few suggestions if you make it up to Monroe Mi The Monroe State Fair the raisin River Museum and the horror and oddities Museum keep up the great work
I wish you would have gotten Dollywood season passes. It's much cheaper, less aggravation, and more fun. I know Jen loves Disney, but I think she'd warm up to the Smoky Mountains. Something to think about for next year.
You have to use the past eight times year to make the base cost cover itself. It is a small business owner. I look at this as a great tax write off as well. Kudos!
About that abandoned house where you found those old family slide photos and the old chevy corvair car was left at do you know if that house is still standing with everything still there?
Another fun video...thanks 😊 I really enjoy your content more than other tubies doing the same. I tried promoting your channel to the Travel Channel (not affiliated with them just a fan of your content) to maybe help share your travel content beyond youtube. Unfortunately I was told the market for this opportunity was unavailable at this time, but your channel will be referenced in the future if this opportunity arises.
I paused this vid a thousand times to look at everything,I loved that place!!Thank you CB and hi Jenny Penny
"This black bear looks like Adam Driver."..... That made me almost spit my coffee on the keyboard. Hahahaa!!!!
Thank you, Mr. I really enjoy your videos. Hope that you stay making videos about these kind of places some of us couldn't experience.
Carpetbagger is up 😊 thanks for sharing the strange and unusual 😁. Hi Jenny 👋😊

Artisan Works was cool! Thanks, Jacob.
Very cool how the owners of this museum created this
This is the most eclectic collection I have ever seen. I have to go check this out in person.

They aren’t that long. You actually miss a lot by getting lightning lane because the queues are designed to be part of the ride
A long cue you say?! Isn't that what everyone loves about Disney - the cue lines! That's where the magic is at! The waiting!
@@misterbookworm facts.
Lines look long. But go pretty fast.
Definitely have to wear great walking shoes. Lol
I feel bad that your missing out. Plz go once at least. ✌😎😃
What a collection! Those brownies @ 30 minutes remind me of the Rugrats dolls
I always mean to get more time in Rochester
Loved this video, what a place, you could spend hours. A true hidden gem, I had no idea this existed, thank you Jacob I will definitely be checking this place out!

We appreciate everything you do for us all be safe out there my friend 😀 😊
Hi there Jacob.. I agree another amazing place!!!. Very interesting you could so spend a whole day in there.. XX
Definitely love the wired and wonderful road side attractions more than the Disney videos but still like the theme park vids so you do you man.
Thanks for the great video Jacob have a great weekend 😊
Artisan works is awesome! There is art hanging from the ceilings all over the walls you never know where to look. If you don't already have ADHD, you will by the time you leave. Hehe!

That place was literally made for you and your content!!! 😊

Hey Carpetbagger. Hope its not cold there. Thanks for taking us with you. I wish you would show us the area in which you live.
I’m excited for the Disney content jacob!
That’s one big bunker!
You rock jacob
What a cool place!
The New Mexico papers still have comics and Oklahoma.
Congrats ❤
18:07 “a stack of pancakes on a toilet by a murdered corpse”
That is the most Rochester thing I’ve ever seen lol
That Tree-Man HAD to be Treebeard! You're lucky he didn't think you were an Orc!
Lionhead goldfish! If it has the head stuff and also a dorsal fin it's called an oranda.
(I used to keep fancy goldfish too.)
Glad to hear you will not be in Disney too much. We get enough of that from Adam. 😁
Love your videos!!
Rip van winkle half hour
Great video Jacob
A Disney fan here .. I'm happy that you are an annual pass holder 🎉 I can't wait for the content 🎉 But I'm glad your not a 100% Disney Vloger . 😊
I did a photography free class when I was in high school. It was called the dark room.
I was thinking about doing it myself, but I live in Florida and I never even go to Disney it’s a long drive .
Cool 😎
JACOB in Georgia, there's a TREEHOUSE to sleep in surrounded by ALPACAS to feed and pet. TAKE JEN THERE PLZ 😃🙏🙏💕

If you’re happy, Cb, we’re happy 😃
This art installation is a look inside TCB’s brain 🧠
Art Museum...very creepy 😳
Nice to hear that you are going to Seattle! Hope you have a great day Jake!
Twenty years...for Rip Van Winkle's "nap"
❤😊
You should go to Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water! It's neat! Very MCM.
Treeman looks like Treebeard an ent in Lord of the Rings.

They let me film at these places

Ahh no disney for me
My family and I enjoy your travels! Keep up the great work. Hey are you gonna be hooking up with Adam anytime soon?
I think it was 20 years for Rip, sir.
" Rip Van Winkle, who has been missing for 20 years " According to Wikipedia
Wow this place is amazing. Do they sell annual passes?
JACOB go to Florida has many things to see here.
I suspect that “tree man” is supposed to be Treebeard from Lord of the Rings.
Come to Australia
Rip Van Winkle slept for 20 years
the black bear look's like the cocaine bear xD
Nice to hear you're going to settle
Rip Van Winkle slept for twenty years.
My sister had her wedding reception here. Fascinating place 🥰

Great content
Are these things for sale as art?
