Hereford Forever, United We Love You

The new anthem for Hereford FC. The song was conceived by Andrew Marc Boucher, son of the composer Danny Lee who felt that the new club deserved a re-vamped version of the club anthem that would mark it's landmark inception, recognise the new clubs motto and as a tribute to his late father.
The original was written in 1972 and was conceived to celebrate Hereford United's FA Cup victory over Newcastle United and the club's subsequent election to the football league.
A further version was released in 1973 and in 2002 it was completely re-written to celebrate it's 30th anniversary. Dave Stewart and Danny then produced a 2006 version to celebrate the Conference play-off victory against Halifax and subsequent re-entry into the football league. Sadly this was the last of Danny's versions as he passed away in 2007. Local Herefordshire band King Mantis then produced a cover in 2013 as a fundraiser for Hereford United.
The new song can be brought on CD from the club shop for £8 and also contains the 2013, 2006, 2002, 1979 and 1972 versions.
