No way you covered a guy that just re-committed back to the same school…and you made sure to say that the new qb for usc is higher than Lewis like 3 times sus
While JuJu may be more polished QB right now, I think that Longstreet has a higher ceiling. Longstreet may be more willing to sit a year, and develop, before taking the helm in '26. Plus he is local.... This is a win for USC!
anthonymyers1878:. I believe Lewis will not go to UGA because he won't want to sit and develop. I think it is better for true freshman qbs to not to expect to start their first season. Especially in the SEC.
@ Underwood’s the number one QB. I’m sure JuJu’s good, and there’s a reason why Riley wanted him, and yes I’ve never seen him in person, he’s in Georgia, I’m in California. I’ guessing you’ve never seen Longstreet in person either. I wish Juju good luck, but I’m very happy with our pick. Don’t be surprised if Juju stays home and signs with Georgia…….
As a usc life fan, so happy the julian lewis drama is over. julian knew Husan Longstreet was going to flip his commitment from texas a & m to usc. He was just using usc for leverage. Im so happy that Husan is a local and california kid and decided to stay home. I see julian lewis going to georgia now. Husan Longstreet is our future. And Husan Longstreet is upgrade frim julian lewis, that's real talk. Fight On To Victory And Go Trojans ✌️ ☝️ 💪
Anyone who’s seen Longstreet and Lewis play would say this is an upgrade. Longstreet’s by far and away the more talented prospect with the higher upside. Longstreet is a legitimate NFL caliber talent, Lewis isn’t.
What’s more important now, recruiting 5 star unproven freshmen, or getting experienced players in the portal that fill holes and contribute right away?
If Baldwin decommits again, I won't be shocked. His journey has been insane and quite juvenile, to say the least. If he stays with UI, he won't see the field for a yr or 2🤷🏽♀️
This is what i hate about recruiting these schools commit all these resources on a kid to have them 3 weeks before signing day they flip too another school. There should be a rule if you commit you have to play 1 yr before you could transfer
Nope, I’d rather they decommit than play for a team they ultimately didn’t want to be with. This is part of the business of college football. Don’t hate the player; hate the game. Just like programs can fire a coach after they've recruited talent-whether the coach leaves voluntarily for a better opportunity or is let go-players should have the same right to make decisions that are best for them.
Would you accept a job for a year that told you before you agree to the job the stimulations is you have to commit to the job for a Year rather you like it or not??
I like that wr outta Jville and the other outta Tampa. We get Pickett and that DL outta Por Charlotte uffff! We gonna win a natty in 2 yrs.. No doubt abaout it! "In Lagway I trust"
There will be plenty of great players hitting the portal and the way Coach Prime has turned the CU football program and the excitement around these players, no matter it is what it is, I’m sure Coach Prime will get his Dawgs for the Defense and Offense. Everything he does is bringing a wealth of knowledge and money to the whole area. He has a great almost Professional NFL type of plays and using them will just help these players that get picked in the Draft. Speaking of the Draft just watch how many Buffs get picked in this years Draft that alone will attract smart superstars or future superstars, at any rate they have kicked the door open and aren’t looking to look backwards they will improve even though we will miss some serious great players
@robertvose7310 sure dude. Sure. Do you have any idea how many 5* and 4* players have their rankings knocked down when their chance of committing to CU is high? It's definitely got something to do with CU.
It's a few people they will man that position after shilo n cam leave Carter and a Grad student on roster now and Vandy transfer n another freshman incoming nothing is solid until early signing period
USC get good QBS that's not the issue the problem has been the can't get that team winning consistently specifically at the defensive side of the ball just my honest opinion and I'm not a fan of USC.
So was juju scared of the competition? Did he just expect the job handed to him? That’s my only concern if he comes to cu. Will he recommit from cu if a higher stock player (on paper) also commits to cu 🤔
Taking Longstreet any day of the week over Juju. Besides the fact that he’s just flat out better than him, his style of play is a much better fit for a Lincoln Riley offense. Husan is a true dual threat QB, juju not nearly as mobile. We learned this season what happened with Lincoln’s offense when he has a QB who has limited mobility. Never got Trojan vibes from Juju. Glad this charade is over
Trojan fans moved on from Juju months ago. Happy and proud to have Longstreet sign to fight on at the coliseum. He will be trained and prepared for NFL. Juju might be nervous about Coach Prime getting an offer he can't refuse and leaving. Longstreet has no worries.
People are so messed up. 1. These are teenagers who are picking the COLLEGE that the want to go to no matter how you feel. 2. ESPN high school football player rankings will always be the standard in my book when it comes to ranking players. Now with that said, ESPN has Julius Lewis as the 2nd ranked player in the country and Husan Longstreet is ranked 47th. And Julius Lewis is only 16 years old.; TALK ABOUT UPSIDE!
Most of us wanted Husan Longstreet all along....hell yeah! Little Juju was not exactly USC material....he's a better fit with the bling bling of Prime's culture....good riddance! ✌✌✌
This may sound hypocritical because I am watching this channel and have subscribed to it. (Drumroll) However, I the methodology and money it takes to recruit these kids (because that's what they are) is insane. I know that is today's culture, but I worry that we are creating a swath of the population of student-athletes who will become even more entitled than they currently are. I look at Julian Lewis and I worry for him. This is nothing but an opinion, but I get a sense that the Colorado student-athletes at the top of the pecking order do not spend much time with academics. This is when I truly wish there was an NFL?NBA/MLB minor league system that took care of these kids. Student-athletes and their coaches get much more coverage and money than the truly great students and faculty who will impact the direction and status of our nation in the coming years. I love college athletics and support college athletics but still wish the tail didn't wag the dog and we seem to have happening. Go Blue!
1). Academics don't bring in money. 2) The Colorado football players have the highest GPA ever for Colorado football under Coach Prime. 3) These schools were making hundreds of millions off these young men for decades 4) The coaches were able to come and go and make millions. Which oddly you left out. 5) Yes it's hypocritical 6) You wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the athletes....
The Colorado Buffaloes football team had its highest GPA ever in 2023. In 2024, the team had the second-highest GPA in its history. Coach Deion Sanders has highlighted the team's academic achievements, saying that the program is focused on both wins and GPA.
