I'm also not a fan of the new logo, but it is very on-trend with where graphic design is at to date. It works because people are able to mock it and meme it, which is exactly what makes it memorable.

I live close to the Mercedes Benz stadium. It is absolutely beautiful in person. The atmosphere is one of the best I've ever seen.

The greatest world cup ever already happened two years ago, where I attended twelve different games without even changing my hotel, it’s was a unique experience
I am pretty young so I have not seen to many world cups but while the games in 2022 were some of the best the atmosphere in the country was nowhere what it has been in other countries where football mattered to the nation. just look at the euro 2024 in Germany. the atmosphere was 1000 times better (I say this without having been to Qatar during the World Cup and basing it off of what I heard) and that was just the euros.
Bro I have Mexican heritage, was born in the USA, lived in Canada most of my life, and will be in college or university during the World Cup 😑

Not sure why Fifa would even consider the US 😂. Since the very first tournament the countries who won or went anywhere near it have been exclusively in South American or European. Stadiums in Europe are a joke compared to American stadiums. Seriously I can't think of any other place to host a world cup, I went to friendly mexico portugal at gillete stadium in 2014,and it was a friendly but it felt like a final.. What a atmosphere around the stadium..then inside.. Nobody entertains better than the Americans

The Dusseldorf Arena was notable exception, as it was reserved for Euro 2024 only.
The opening game was held in Munich and the final was held in Berlin, similar to 2006 one.

The best World Cup ever was in Qatar…we went to 2-3 games a day because all the stadiums were in close proximity. I didn’t have to hope on a plane everyday to go to different games and multiple games.
