Hello family, what did you think of my stock gmc? I would like to do a 4x4 version of the same casting I think. I'll see if I have another. Hope your Friday is going good! 🍺🍺🍺🍺🧙♂️
I love it. My older brother bought a new 1995 GMC 1/2 ton stepside that was a metallic teal color (nothing screams 90’s awesome like teal!) and I’ve loved that body style ever since.
Detail tip. Snipers will time the trigger pull between heartbeats so there is no tremor from their heartbeat. If you exhale slowly while doing the detail it will help steady your hand. Also dont hold your breath. It will cause your hand to shake slightly. I saw it when you did the rear amber on the fender. That is a sweet custom dually. One i would love to drive irl.
At first I was impressed at the quality of detail, but what blew me away was when you started singing Weird Al. Take this thumbs up and sub, you earned it.
Don't know if you've ever worked with it, but Tamiya has this stuff called 'Panel Line Accent Color' . Comes with a very fine-tipped brush build in the cap. I use the black version a lot. Well, i use a little, but often. Another great build man!
I like surprises myself and I don't like thumbnails of the finished project , I like to see it finished at the end of video . By the way I am into plastic models not die casts but I started watching you cause you crack me up lol but your work as kept me , you are really good at what you do no matter if its a restore or custom. Thank you for sharing.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist myself, and I know you'd like to show everything on camera. But I don't think any of us would be upset if you did the little details off camera, we all know you do amazing work. That said. I think you've given me an idea for a paint job on my van, so thanks for that. And thanks for the videos.
1/2: I like the center counsel in my 94’ Ram. 2/2: I was super skeptical about this project. It turned out amazing. The details are excellent. The paint color seems spot on. Excellent work
Too bad he stopped making videos. This guy was by far the best at this. He was so talented and relaxing to listen to. He took a "real" job and had to stop doing these. Our loss.
Sad for no Ice Cream Truck on my Friday - Maybe an Ice Cream Truck SUNDAY then? An absolutely great end to my Friday when a Diecast Resurrection is playing on my PC. Cheers and Beers!
OBS for LIFE! :) I have a '93 Chevy Indy Pace Truck and a '98 single cab Chevy stepside Z71. Can't wait for next year's RLC release of the '90 454 SS and M2's line of OBS Chevy trucks!
Dude! That thing looks like factory paint! I knew a guy in the Air Force whose Chevy had the same paint scheme. His was more of a silver and teal, since it was a 1991 model.
Love it. One little detail missing is the brake light above back window. When I was younger I accidentally smashed my dads back light with a goofball I hit with a bat. Unlucky lucky it wasn’t the back window
I'm 1:40 in and I had a 99 suburban with that center console. It was junk. Ripped it out. Bought one from Walmart that had 4 cup holders. 2 in front, 2 in back and a large storage area. Amazing how something so simple made it so much better.
Wow! This is one of my favorite ones that you’ve done. Something about it is just super clean. Such an improvement over the original color scheme. Nice work!
That looks so authentic, I half-expect to see the white flake off to reveal grey primer underneath in 6 months. lol. I love how you made an honest dually out of it. Good work, as always.
never seen this casting but that was an awesome red green quote. I have the puzzle and poster of the lodge limo. look it up it's hilarious. now this is only my opinion but the mid to laten90s were the last years of the real chev truck trucks. kinda got preppy since then for the most part. that 2 tone looks sick just as they looked. that detail work of yours is insane. I wouldn't even attempt this side light derails at my level of skill.. ? y don't they put dually wheels on dually truck casting but call it a dually lol hope you have a good weekend
Great job! What an amazing authentic Chevy! you have to make your own sound effects and push it around hahaha! Don't hate me, I couldn't pass up that joke it was just too easy.
Sweet! I can't believe it...I was holding my breath when you were doing the up close and personal painting LOL. Really though, I think this is one of my favorites. Good job dude!
Wow, that turned out great. Two tone pain jobs always look nice. One thing about that Hotwheels casting is that, when compared to other vehicles, it seems narrow. The Ertl casting is more to scale. I think you might enjoy customizing an Ertl casting of the one-ton GMC dually as well.

Ohh.. I have a couple of these. They are so 90s cool. Looking forward to this one!
You definitely did it , looks awesome and 1000 times better now.
Would definitely like to see a 4x4
My 3500 is a 4x4
I find Austin so entertaining that.. he could paint a rock.. and I'd be just as happy lol 😂
Agree
I agree
Your right man!
@@frankortiz_HeroDad *you’re*
I just realized that I'm here for 10% the cars, and 90% for your jokes and sound effects.

Looks great I drive a 98 Tahoe 2 door with some pretty rare options for its year
The dully turned out really nice the paint was on point, great job. 👍👍👍
Gives new meaning to "toy hauler". Another cool build!
Can you have your buddy 3D print a rear bumper, then paint it silver for the dually? Nice build either way!
3D print a bumper and a horse trailer to match.
Very nice.
Hell yea. My type of customs. I loooooove hand painting details.
The truck turned out great!
Great job buddy!! Those colors make me want to go get me a Bud Light!!🤠👍
Shout out to my fellow old people that immediately got the, "Like a surgeon", reference.
Made me chuckle! 🤣🤣
Me too 🤣🤣
Congratulations on 100K subscribers! You earned them.

Before watching the video, I thought it would be a Ertl casting. Ertl has a great 1:64 scale GMC dually casting.
Brilliant result. The wheels, the colour, the details are all so awesome. I love your work and your channel. Thanks for the good times dude.

This truck turned out pretty bad ass! A 4x4 would be cool too.. man this was BOSS!
Too bad he stopped making videos. This guy was by far the best at this. He was so talented and relaxing to listen to. He took a "real" job and had to stop doing these. Our loss.
What a marvelous paint job love it great job.
Love these trucks I have 6 different variations of them lol.. if u find another should make it a crew cab
Sad for no Ice Cream Truck on my Friday - Maybe an Ice Cream Truck SUNDAY then? An absolutely great end to my Friday when a Diecast Resurrection is playing on my PC. Cheers and Beers!
This one turned out super cool! Definitely one of my favorites you have done.
The sound effects you make is the cherry on top for the content
Dually wheels look good. How bout a 50's COE dually redlineTow truck! I need to add one to my collection 😁
OBS for LIFE! :) I have a '93 Chevy Indy Pace Truck and a '98 single cab Chevy stepside Z71. Can't wait for next year's RLC release of the '90 454 SS and M2's line of OBS Chevy trucks!

Love the Red Green salute. Really enjoyed this one. Great details.
Paint looks like a very proper factory finish! Those dually tires look so tough
Hell yeah, that’s one good looking Jimmy!
I actually had this truck when I was a kid. I repainted it black and tinted the windows with a sharpie. Wasn’t anywhere as nice as your restoration

I made one of these a single cab a couple years ago, turned out real nice.
Another resto hit out of the park. Very nice.
