I like your down to earth approach to displaying and showing you how to use it
Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it
This was the review I was looking for. Honest straight forward and to the point. Also you seem like a sound fella 👌🏾.
I can tell you are successful at what you do.
Nice one thank you
Had that thing about 2 years and never thought about using the clamps inverted through the holes on top. Every day's a school day. 👍🏻
My sons gonna buy me one for my Birthday, can't wait, thanks for the video 😁
just got one today at B Q 54 pounds better than a kitchen chair or the wifes work surface used to have a black and decker workmate years ago but this is brilliant good vid
I couldn’t agree more with you George thank you
Great review Will’s, I’ll get one tomorrow ....
You won’t regret it mate
Exactly what I bought my meter one for…holding trucking
Absolutely spot-on, I was using mine today
Nice video. Well explained. Bought myself one
Love this guys review no fing about and to the point my kind of guy. Nice one.
Thank you Paul
That dismount gets a 7.7 on the score cards 😃
Only got a Caddy and it's rammed as it is but this bench looks handy. Maybe I can play van tetris!
It’s well worth it’s price in the van. Are used to have a little extra van and had to play Tetris all the time my boxes
Forgot to ask if those clamps can be used as spredders?
Sorry mate, what do you mean by spreaders?
Hi, does anyone know where I can get replacement clamps for his bench please Many thanks
Just bought one, thanks mate!
Snap Will. Got exactly the same one. Never knew how much I needed it until I got one. Great review.
Absolutely magic mark ain’t they
Use ours all the time particularly for cutting metal trunking using the clamps. Ours bust when we used it to stand on tho
I was a bit nervous getting on top of mine after Christmas. Ive Become a right fatty
I've ordered the keter version £60 online. 🤞 the wife drops her knickers when she see it. If not I'll have to think of a plan B.
Great review Will and I'm sure the Macallister/Keter versions are almost identical. The manufacturers must have put a lesser rating on the Mac version 'cos they expected to sell more. I doubt the keter bench holds 400 plus kg's. I don't think I'd try my luck either👍.
Classic safety test....
Can I climb on it and wobble about.
Sold.
If it can hold a fat bastard like me it can hold anything 😂😂
Love mine! Only problem is I smashed the handle when I was using it to do my racking 🤦🏻♂️🤯Only had it 24 when I did that too! Proper Lemon! Still works well, such a useful bit of kit!
it Is one of those tools that you don't appreciate how useful it is until you haven't got it.Mine has been through the wars as well the biggest challenge to stop other trades putting this tools and materials on it.Can you not make a handle out all round banding going through plastic kopex.
@@ElectricianTV Yeah definitely mate, I changed vans and moved house abs chucked mine in a shed at my parents for storage and then lockdown and tier 4 etc has happened so mines stuck there along with my rhino pipe tube 🤦🏻♂️and I’ve really missed it! Definitely the biggest problem stopping others using it! Great shout about the copex handle I’ll have to have a look when I get it back! That’s for the idea fella
Thank you for the video. Do you know the clamping pressure/force of the clamps supplied?
No problem thanks for watching
Midfield General, I’ve had 2 sets of these since February 2017 and still going strong 💪 with very regular use. Brilliant for when we are doing our plant room refurbs. Ours actually made a guest appearance on @efixx vid a little while back.
Good straight forward review. Like the idea using the slots for vertical clamping.
👊😎👍
🐝⚡️
One of those tools that you buy that you think going to be crap. Turns out being brilliant
I saw one of these on either Nick Bundy or Chris CJR i think. And went and bought one. How i managed without one i dont know.
Totally agree Magic bit of kit
I’m getting one thank you 👍
They are well worth the money
Legs don't hold in well at all.. other than that it's sturdy but it will become a problem if you have to move it alot. The legs should be snug but for $54 it's manageable I guess, next step up is $100 so 🤷
They're actually quite popular in the dogging scene. Just take one up and set shop in the woods.
I wish you said earlier there on a deal in Cosco at the moment I’ve get a lorry load
I suppose that's when you need the clamps
I picked one up a couple of weeks back as it was in the sale at B&Q think it was £40 ish, which I thought was a bargain.
Snap Bargain at that price
I've just had a look for one, back up to 60quid!
Are they , adaptable .
Can they hold a Door .
Vise - copper pipes ..
Electrician Trays ,
Thanks will ( nice Air max 95 ..by the way
It’s funny I have read all that and all I can say is thank you banging pair of trainers aint they. If they can hold me they can hold the world. 😂🤣😂
@@ElectricianTV lol love my , Air max 95 👋😆
@@stevendouglas3860 To be honest I love all Air max and Adidas originals.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
3:23 what pen was that?
Hulators from Powertool mate on line
Found it. Cheers pal
Ha ha - just like me you can't work out how to put the clamps back into the bench for storage either :-)
I just leave them in the unit
Chilly on the willy 😂😂😂
AaHe went inside for a little while 😂😂
Knicker dropped tool 😂😂 buzz off your videos man.
I’ve seen these in b&q and decided not to bother, mostly being a bit of a snob and thinking nah, not mac Alistair..... but think you might have just swayed me mate
You’re absolutely bang on mate I was exactly the same but then my mate showed me on site and it’s great. At the end of the day even if it’s just to hold your tools and I don’t have to keep going to the floor you’re on a winner. It is and probably will be the only McAllister thing I’ve got.Only because on my knob not a snob😂🥳
