An outstanding little device that will allow me to kick it on the couch and jam while not bothering the wife sitting next to me while she watches TV. I just need the 3 basic tones. Late to the party, but since I'm sure this video still get plenty of views I wanted to point out that the reason Leon could not get the "Jam Track" or other "play-along" streams into the NUX headphones is that the streaming is basically using the NUX as any Bluetooth device - meaning that you: 1. Connect to the NUX as you would a Bluetooth speaker for the streaming (which means anything you play on the tablet/phone will be heard in the NUX headphones) and then you 2. make another connection from inside the NUX App to connect the controls. Took me a while to figure it out. I love this thing. I often connect it to a small Bluetooth speaker (with a cable to the AUX in) instead of using headphones to get the tiniest, cutest little monster amp that screams at whispering volume :)
Saw this demo. Bought this thing. Wow! Sounds killer and so easy to use the app to tweak or play along with backing tracks in Spotify. Great review Leon and very well played! I’ve got a Mighty Air that gets used mainly with headphones and I love it. Got it as a present and it gets way more use than my Spark, Peavey Bandit and JCM. That would make this a ridiculously cheap option for a tiny DI flyrig. Acoustic & electric tones for playing solo or duo sets. All it needs is a bass amp model too!
I wish NUX (or anyone else for that matter) would do something like this that was just a bi-directional wireless pack. Guitar input and in-ears output. Then a base station with guitar out and stereo monitor inputs. I'd buy that, for sure. Two belt packs is a pain in the arse.

Not sure about the Bluetooth speakers, but you could always run an aux cord from the plug to powered speakers. It's exciting to hear you're getting into guitar, enjoy the ride!
I ended up buying one of this. They are quite nice, but they have one big problem which is kind of a deal breaker for people wanting to use this as a practice tool. The bluetooth connection to listen backing tracks has a massive latency. So if you want to use anything that needs visual sync, like a metronome or iRealB for example, the latency is large enough to throw you out of track. I find it extremely annoying and ended up sending the unit back. One could use something like a mixer or some similar wired solution, but that defeats the whole purpose of having one single piece to quickly plug in and practice. So close, yet so far.
Well, what can we expect. Nearly all bluetooth peripherals will always have some great latency when it comes to real time music tracking. Even for competitive online gaming, people would tend to avoid bluetooth connection on their headphones, let alone using them to track your jam. 😁👏
Oz? I just googled it and there's a couple in Oz. Cheapest I found was $130AU with free shipping. I'd probably wait as I'd reckon Artistguitars would more than likely get them in at some stage. They're prices are generally pretty good.

tracks has a massive latency. So if you want to use anything that needs
visual sync, like a metronome or iRealB for example, the latency is
large enough to throw you out of track. I find it extremely annoying and
ended up sending the unit back. One could use something like a mixer or
some similar wired solution, but that defeats the whole purpose of
having one single piece to quickly plug in and practice. So close, yet
so far.
Well, what can we expect. Nearly all bluetooth peripherals will always have some great latency when it comes to real time music tracking.
Even for competitive online gaming, people would tend to avoid bluetooth connection on their headphones, let alone using them to track your jam. 😁👏
Just ordered one as a X-mas gift to myself....
Can also connect to PC or only iOS/Android?
Do you need to have the app running? Or does it work like a standalone headphone amp?
Standalone works just fine.
Sounds pretty cool. Can't seem to find any stockists on this side of the world... :-(
Oz? I just googled it and there's a couple in Oz. Cheapest I found was $130AU with free shipping. I'd probably wait as I'd reckon Artistguitars would more than likely get them in at some stage. They're prices are generally pretty good.
@@peterschmidt9942 I just got one sent to UK from "the pedal guy", find his RUclips channel it has a link to shop. $98US inc post to here. Superb service, recommended.
How do connect it to the mixer?
Will the quality be different if I record using USB directly to my laptop instead of using a 1/4 jack?
Where can you buy it brother?
I'm guessing maybe they sent this out to a bunch of high profile youtubers because they don't seem to be generally available yet?
Try the pedalguy in reverb. He s the only one that has it currently
NO TUNER BUILT IN?
Nice review - very informative. The age of DSP is upon us in such a big way now... great time to be alive. Well.. except for the global pandemic and all. ;-)
Are mighty and mighty mp2 different?
Where do you get this!? I need one!!
The Pedal Guy store on Ebay
Sold out..
how is the latency?
Great! Well below the threshold of perception for me anyway.
@@LeonTodd aw nice thanks for the reply :) ❤️
Can you recommend me some earphones that sound good with high gain/distortion ? Thx
Headphones are bad for the hearing!
Audio-Technica -> any refence monitor headphone is ok depending on your Budget. Higher empedance will be Better for your Case
@@davidburakulusoy1 All right much appreciated!
Man I just want to tune to some weird random guitar tuning and fingerpick an ethereal sounding tune that sounds like it came from a different dimension with the Roland Jazz Chorus sound
