ooo I like that dragon !!! I also find that some inks do better in flex pens and sometimes it has to do with the kind of paper that you are using I review fountain pens ink and paper on my youtube channel so I can totally see what youre talking about :)
Paper makes a huge difference! It really is such a balance between the ink, pen, and paper and I usually jump to blaming the pen or ink first, but that isn’t always the case. Dragon is super pretty. If i don’t watch myself, i’ll end up with 129 bottles of that same teal color from different brands because it makes my brain happy ◡̈
I love the fact that you like modern flex pens. I just got an Omniflex Conklin and for the first time I see shading in my writing. I am so happy. Also, I am getting that Red Beans and Rice ink because of you! I love it. Rachelle in Seattle
Highly recommend the Nooodlers Konrad with the Fountain pen Revolution Ultra Flex nib installed it gives the perfect amount of shimmer when its there and sheen when its there and its a piston and they come in demonstrator and all kinds of pretty colors I agree the Jaipur is a little clonkey and the push pull converter is a spill mess waiting to happen it reminds me of those old cartoons where they pulled the lever and ink got everywhere lol exactly that but I never have theose problems with my noodlers konrad and its hand disassemblable and if you de grease it with dawn dish soap and re grease it with goulet grease it doesnt smell as bad plus I found if you spray the pen in your favorite perfume it doesnt smell as bad or noticable :)
I have been meaning to try the Konrad! I cooked my Ahab under a UV light for a ridiculous amount of time and it actually helped a lot, but perfume isn’t a bad idea! Thanks for the suggestion! I love your channel by the way ◡̈
@@WhimsyofThings Yeah the konrad isnt bad it takes a little fiddling but you already know that if you play with the fountain pen revolution nibs they take a little fiddling and the cleaning process so the konrad isnt much worse :)

Flex pens are a lot of fun! I love vintage flex too, but modern flex pens scare me a little less! I hope you like the ink. It is one of my favorites!
