This was a fun and an awesome comparison. How close they all were but UK was a bit more creamier. Thank you for a great review and to Brian, many thanks. Enjoy a fun and sweet day.
One of my favourite candy bars from the uk is the “cadbury twirl bar” it has such a great texture and sweet creamy flavour. I can get it here in Canada sometimes in special candy shops but it is very rare.
The whole gimmick behind Cadbury Dairy Milk is that it had a glass and a half of milk in each one. So maybe the American one uses a milk powder. The UK change was to the ammount of cocoa solid i believe . It used have more snap yet still creamy. Its a lot softer now due to the lack of cocoa solid. Something like that. They swear blind they haven't changed it but they clearly have.
I keep seeing people say that Cadbury has changed for the worse in the UK. I’ve been eating Cadbury for 57 years. I havn’t noticed ANY change, and if anything, i like it more now than i ever did 😛😛
To be honest I didn’t care about the result, it was all about seeing Kevin in the mask 🤪😁. I have to try the 🇺🇸 version as that was a shock. I also have to eat more Cadbury’s from SA and the 🇬🇧 to put this to rest 🤪. I’m glad you enjoyed them and hope the other Cadburys goodies are also good. Thanks for the review.
This was good news. You know when you can’t have something, it seems like you want it more. At least now I know ours isn’t quite as inferior as it once was. I still wish we could get other Cadbury items offered in the UK. I’ve considered ordering from an online British store... but it’s so expensive. Also I very much want to try a authentic UK flapjack.
@@bklondon75deliciousnesswit64 Sounds good to me 😀 I’m totally onboard. Awhile back I ordered from a UK store which has good ratings. Their customer service was great and very helpful. But my package got lost and I never received it. They gave me a full refund.... but I was so disappointed that I didn’t get the goodies I ordered.
My goodness we argued about this at Quora. Many people don't like the Hershey's-made version of Cadbury's in the US. Hershey's prepares its milk differently for milk chocolate, so that could be a big difference (just a theory). The creaminess could be a matter of the freshness. I know I get a lot of rather stale milk chocolate here in Japan -- the imported stuff that is.
Wow! This actually makes me feel better. I guess since the UK version isn’t what it once was... it’s not as superior compared to ours anymore. Good thing for us... probably not so good for the Cadbury lovers in the UK though. I recently did get the regular dairy milk and also the dark milk... and thought they were quite good. I’m so glad you did this blind taste test review.
I have a good friend in the US (South Carolina). The first time i sent her some of our Chocolate she returned the favour by sending me some Hersheys...Oh my Lord!Tasted like exlax...LOL.
Yup hahaha! I think to people who didn't grow up eating Hersheys it just tastes sour, like vomit. Not the different types like cookies and cream but the classic milk and dark.
I’ve never tried a Cadbury milk bar. After watching this review, it’s got me curious to try one!! ☺️ I’ll have to keep a look out at World Market next time I go!! Fun review!!
I am not surprised the UK won out but I am surprised how close the American one came to the others. Either Cadbury (UK) is cheaping out somewhere in the production or Hershey's has stepped up their game lol
i think the difference comes down to the fact that in the UK version the first ingredient (which means it has the most of this) is milk, whereas the other two have sugar listed first.
I researched this and that actually comes down to US vs. UK requirements. US uses dry weight and UK doesn't--so the milk is measured dry not wet. So actually the proportions are not different.
I have had the American version a million times and love it. They also have or had a version with fruit that I like. I have had the U.K. version which was very good, but not worth the extra cost of buying overseas. We have Publix here, and they have an international aisle with several U.K. candies, and if I see it there it is worth the 50 cent difference or whatever. Also, I love Hershey chocolate.
I am glad to see you do this comparison. It's a shame they changed the UK version. When big corporations take over, corners are typically cut and product quality suffers.
Cadbury’s in the UK is nowhere near as good as it use to be they used to use different ingredients ,it now melts quickly when compared to how it use to be , also it has a waxy greasy taste , cadbury in america is apparently made different to the uk version , MILKA is how cadburys use to be 20 years ago , I like milka oreo , plain milka and the raisin and nut version yummy 😘😍🥰
I've been sad ever since Hershey took over Cadbury in the U.S. because the eggs don't taste near as good anymore. I drive over an hour to go to a British shop now to get the real deal from the U.K.
Oh yay thanks for using my idea. Wow, who knew they were all going to taste almost identical after all
I really appreciate your suggestion! 😃
I love ❤️ the way you edit ✍🏽 your video I love 💗 watching your video you make amazing 🤩 video you make awesome 🤩 😎 👏🏽 video I’m your biggest fan
I appreciate that!

Would be interesting adding Aussie and Canadian Cadbury Dairymilk to the mix
I agree!

I miss the old UK dairy milk... It is still good but 100% not as good as it used to be.

Just googled and Cadburys have brought the manufacturers back to the Uk,,,yey!
Where were they before?
@@themeltedchocolate they began in Birningham (uk) ,went to Europe for a sho9rt while ,before coming home where they belong:)
@@Joy-qw3wm but the uk is Europe? XD some people say Cadbury tastes like milka, i wonder if they were being manufactured at the same place
Damn no Australian Cadbury lol
I know! It would have been fun to have it as well!
Am commenting b3efore you start.I`ll be amazed if anything comes close to the British ones:):)
You have to try "Diary milk Silk" from India atleast once in your life.

That's really interesting, I always thought milka was vastly superior to Cadbury but then again I never had Cadbury from 15 or 20 years ago.
i had the america cadbury bar a few weeks ago
it was good but a bit thick not buying it again

The Australian is definitely the best. 🙊
Does Australia have a factory you can tour like in the UK?
Must admit I love your Cadbury Snack bars
@@TamiDunn unfortunately not! Their HQ is in the state that I live, but they stopped tours. “Hygiene” reasons. 🙄

Had no idea Cadbury was in the US, export in Russia has become bad though ):
I think it’s made by Hershey’s
It is made by Hershey over here. That's why I was so surprised it tasted as good as it did ;)
Yum

Cadbury flavour has changed here for the worst
I have heard this about the UK versions as well.
