I am on a bootmod3 Stage 2 E30 tune, with VRSF catless downpipe and VRSF front mount intercooler. Resonator & muffler delete.

    this is my exact car so glad i finally found someone w the n26 same color too she looks so beautiful 😢 msport bumper is a must dude to complete the body lines & show off that intercooler 😉 they also make an m2 bumper that fits on the 228 which i put on mine that just looks fricking amazing dude such a beautiful car & your intro & everything is so professional i can’t believe you only have 200 subs, keep grinding you’ll get there 💪🏼💪🏼

      Brooo I have the same car and couldn’t find a bumper, I would LOVE to see what your car looks like with the bumper and a link to it if possible. Done lots of research and scared to get something that doesn’t fit, let me know man thanks!

    really cool video, i have a 228i with the n20 motor. i already have the catless downpipes with stage 2 tune and fmic but after hearing your exhaust I am definitely going to get a muffler delete

    Hey bro, doesn’t matter if you have a n26, n20 both of those motors still gets it. If you’re pushing 300 whp on Stock Turbos, wait til you upgrade to the bigger turbos, you’ll be putting down anywhere between 350 and 370 whp. You have a great car!

      Wow thank you!!! I would love to upgrade my turbo but I am at 118K miles now. I feel like I should have done that when I was at 50K miles. Kinda scared to do it now as it is my daily 😁

      @@O2Kmo congrats on the new car!! Look under the hood, there should be a sticker. If you have an N20 engine, it will say ULEV. If it is an N26 engine, it will say SULEV.

    hows it holding up so far bro, im looking for the best car to 200k miles in bmw fun line. Im looking at this all the way up to a 335 2014 trying to stay under $18500. east coast prices are 16k for a 2013 335 with 100k miles on it. i have a 2012 c300 that makes 275 with a stage 2 tune wanna sell it tho, so would love to hear your thopughts.

      The car has been so great still. Tbh, 2 years ago I would’ve never thought I would own a bmw 228i today. I’m being honest, it didn’t seem as sporty as other cars and people would also frighten me saying “German cars are very high maintenance, unreliable, and expensive to fix”. That is lies..... Atleast so far lol. For less than $18,500, you can definitely afford a 228i. Go with the 2016 N26 228i because I’ve seen great results so far. I’ve seen more issues on the N20 engines. All I’ve spent to get to 300whp is $1300. $400 intercooler, $300 downpipe, $600 bm3 tune. Now if you want more power, you can just upgrade the turbo and get a street custom tune. It will get you to 430whp. This info was provided to me by a bmw tuner near me, he has tuned a 228i and it’s now running 430whp. He also said it’s been reliable. If you think about it, it costs less than $3.5K to be at 430WHP. So $3.5K + $18,500 (price of car), it’s way cheaper than buying an M235i that come stock costing $28K or more. M235i’s come with 305whp, after stage 2 tune you’re at 430whp. $28k car + $3.5K parts = Same power as $18K car + $3.5k parts (228i). Btw, being at 430whp would be a reliable daily power. If you want to go more, you can. But then it becomes unreliable.

      Nope. Mine is still fine. I recently just checked it. My next mod for sure along with an intake (: the cts intake is on sale right now 🙌🏽

      Never dynoed. My guesses are 290-300whp. I beat stock m235i’s by a fender and those cars dyno at 305whp.

      Same motor different downpipe stock the n20 is more powerful cause of the less restricted cat but catless they would be the same

      Brock Malanche duh, it’s a 4 cylinder! Videos don’t do the justice tho, in person while driving sounds way better. Turbo whistle sounds good and the pops and burble make it sound better. Rev at idle I can admit is trash lol. Thanks for watching though!!

    Hey bro. Did you tune your car with BM3 for more crackles and pops or was it like that on default?

      richardsucks it never did it stock, I tuned it to bm3 and it would burble when driving fast and sometimes pop. But I like pops, so I put the burbles in aggressive mode. This made it pop even when in 2k rpms, gunshots after 4k rpms.
