    - that 3.5 is just amazing 🤩
    - the red interior is amazing
    - handling and ride are impressive
I far exceed your mpg ratings
I get 27-28 mixed driving. On the highway I surpassed its mpg rating. One time I took a road trip 2.5 hours 165 miles. On the highway and this is true, I got 40mpg in a v6 😳

Never tell the Dealer/Salesperson you are paying all in cash. You generally able to negotiate a lower price as MSRP is not Dealer Invoice Cost. Chances are you could get $500 to $3000 off.
Don't like the Offer or Price, go to other Dealerships and shop around. MSRP is the norm since COVID-19 has hurt dealerships. Dealer markups on cars, just walk away from the place.
Don't play the Salesperson game and becareful of the Numbers game. Get everything in writing if promised something and have it signed by a Dealer Manager or Finance person.
Do not rely on the Salesperson having the authority to offer you something since in reality they can't.
Never sign anything without reading and thinking it over, need more time, go back another day. Most Deposits are Non-Refundable. Dealer minimal is usually $1,000.
Avoid making a deposit on the 1st day as the car should be there tomorrow. Common sense and smartwise. Give yourself time, anxiety and being impatient causes rush decisions.
Salesperson will pressure you because they will say, can't promise you it will be here later or tomorrow. They want your money now and signature on the contract.
TFS way of ripping people off by increasing ARP every January. Beware of Toyota's famous "QC Holds" aka Quality Control delays. The new way in the last few years to shaft you over.
The day the Toyota Dealership Finance Manager runs your Credit Check through Toyota Financial Services "TFS" you have a 30 Day window on the current APR.
If you let the Credit Check go passed the 30 Day mark, your APR agreement is Expired. TFS will then issue a higher APR aka higher Interest Rate.
You can go to your own bank or credit union for a pre-approved loan hopefully their APR is less than TFS.
Dealership markups on cars is B.S. (don't pay and walk away), fake increase as We Put Nitrogen in the Tires (Prove it), They will attempt to sell you Accessories, Warranties, Paint Protection and Underbody Rust Proofing. Be careful of who the 3rd Party Service is.
Dealership gets a Commission on selling you 3rd Party Services and offer you Zero coverage because it is not a Toyota or Dealership provided Service being performed by them.
You are best to seek and get Services you want on your own terms. Don't let the Dealership get a Commission on same service you could obtain for a Cheaper Cost by going there yourself.
Toyota has been in the business of App Subscription Plans. After the Trial Period, do not Renew as cancel them because they are not needed or required. Except REMOTE START because the car computer is rigged not to work unless you pay for the plan. Another Toyota ripoff scheme. $80 per year. Please consult with Toyota as this may change in the future and require no payment.
**Automotive News reports that, starting in 2023, buyers of new Toyota and Lexus vehicles will get a 10-year free trial period for the company’s Safety Connect and Service Connect systems.
**As long as you equip your new Toyota or Lexus with the company’s new infotainment system, you get 10 years free.
For Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto get Ottocast U2-X Pro dongle for $99, it works great.
If you really want a Toyota VSA warranty, you think cost is too high, call as many Toyota Dealers you want in the country "USA" until you get a nice low price.
Your dealer wants $2,500 for 7 year / 100K miles Platinum Plan, call around to other dealers as might get one of same plan for $1,900 maybe as low as $1,600.
Huge mistake, never ever Trade-In a vehicle, it is like going to the Pawn Shop. Sell your car Privately or may consider giving it free to a family member. Never sell to a friend unless they know everything you have done to the car and they know what is possibly wrong with it. Selling to a friend may end your friendship.
For example, your 2015 Vehicle you paid $35K and in 2023 is worth $20K. Dealer offers $14K as Trade-In, you just lost possible $5K to $6K in your own pocket.

I’m going to be looking for one.. I have had six Camrys - first starting with a 1989. Camrys have come so far, lol. My 2012 XLE went to a trailhead up 6000 ft in the Mojave across very rugged terrain. People in dune buggies stopped to take video. It was great! I’m considering the 2023 V6 XSE so looking to buy very soon! Red interior so hot on that black/white two toned.
Is there any increase in value for buying a Camry with regular gas engine since all will be Hybrids after 2025?

  • @richscott2483

yep! Start right at the Front Wheels with those very dangerous Bridgestone Turanza EL440 tires. That is why I had replaced those Turanza's even before driven on with Michelin CrossClimate2 tires. I live in the Midwest. My new 2023 Camry XSE V6 will handle much Safer now. Does anyone want to buy my slightly used Turanza tires with 2 miles as came from the factory? LOL. - sorry, I took them to be shredded. Did you know for people being 6 foot or more will have hard time getting comfortable in the back seats. Front seat tight fit for someone who is 6 foot 5 inches tall. You have to remember, Japanese people are not very tall or within their population have 2 percent that are more than 6 feet tall. Toyota vehicles are designed for people under 5 foot 7 inches in mind but they have made exceptions.
Wished Toyota had updated the Instrument Cluster to be all digital and the Infotainment System. I purchased Ottocast U2X-Pro to have Wireless Car Play and Android Auto which on scale 1 to 10 give Ottocast a 7.8 as it functions better than CarlinKit 4.0 and Motorola. Had not tried Carsifi unit. My Camry has Lower Rocker Applique, Emblem Black Overlay, Mudguards, Door Sills, Door Edge Guards, Rear Bumper Black Applique, Black lug nuts and Black Wheel Locks, All-Weather Floor Liners and Trunk Tray. Had windows tinted and installed Thinkware U1000 and BlackVue DR900X-Plus dash cams. Painted the Brake Calipers Black. Have 2 tone Supersonic Red/Midnight Black. May get the Camry repainted a true Red as Supersonic Red has an Orange tinge/tint to it but will keep the top half Black as it has the Panoramic Moon roof. Got a custom car cover from California Car Cover Co. Been looking into changing the black cars seats to look something like the Camry TRD seats (faux/ leather: Black with some Red stitching.) Not making any car modifications as doing so increases Insurance premium and hassle with Motor Vehicle Dept. to register it, then possible law enforcement attempting to give you a citation. JBL Sound System is not a premium system at all, I give it 6.5 out of 10.
Toyota will not have a Camry with a V6 in 2024, so go out and get yours today. 2023 was supposedly Camry's 40th Anniversary in the U.S. Apparently, Toyota going to celebrate the 40th in 2024 as there were no revisions to the 2023 Camry. Read about possible gimmick retouches such as New Exterior and Interior Color with some Badging on the Body on a 2023 Camry. I may as well spread frosting all over the car and put some stickers on the car. "Happy Anniversary" . Open up the panoramic roof and let a cake fly.

I got one 2.5 years ago. 0-60 5.75 seconds and 60 mile hwy commute to work at 78 mph w cruise. 34 mpg. 80 mph 32 mpg on 87 octane. Only thing that stopped me from getting the camry was the slow delay shifting into 2nd gear and hwy mpgs. But it's a diehard dependable engine.

The 9th gen accord V6 automatic has the VCM mode which essentially turns the engine into an I3 configuration. Steady state highway MPG's can easily hit high 30s and even regularly into the low 40s. It does not work in stop and go conditions though so city mileage is typically nothing impressive / low to mid 20s at best.
