I’m going to be looking for one.. I have had six Camrys - first starting with a 1989. Camrys have come so far, lol. My 2012 XLE went to a trailhead up 6000 ft in the Mojave across very rugged terrain. People in dune buggies stopped to take video. It was great! I’m considering the 2023 V6 XSE so looking to buy very soon! Red interior so hot on that black/white two toned. Is there any increase in value for buying a Camry with regular gas engine since all will be Hybrids after 2025?
yep! Start right at the Front Wheels with those very dangerous Bridgestone Turanza EL440 tires. That is why I had replaced those Turanza's even before driven on with Michelin CrossClimate2 tires. I live in the Midwest. My new 2023 Camry XSE V6 will handle much Safer now. Does anyone want to buy my slightly used Turanza tires with 2 miles as came from the factory? LOL. - sorry, I took them to be shredded. Did you know for people being 6 foot or more will have hard time getting comfortable in the back seats. Front seat tight fit for someone who is 6 foot 5 inches tall. You have to remember, Japanese people are not very tall or within their population have 2 percent that are more than 6 feet tall. Toyota vehicles are designed for people under 5 foot 7 inches in mind but they have made exceptions. Wished Toyota had updated the Instrument Cluster to be all digital and the Infotainment System. I purchased Ottocast U2X-Pro to have Wireless Car Play and Android Auto which on scale 1 to 10 give Ottocast a 7.8 as it functions better than CarlinKit 4.0 and Motorola. Had not tried Carsifi unit. My Camry has Lower Rocker Applique, Emblem Black Overlay, Mudguards, Door Sills, Door Edge Guards, Rear Bumper Black Applique, Black lug nuts and Black Wheel Locks, All-Weather Floor Liners and Trunk Tray. Had windows tinted and installed Thinkware U1000 and BlackVue DR900X-Plus dash cams. Painted the Brake Calipers Black. Have 2 tone Supersonic Red/Midnight Black. May get the Camry repainted a true Red as Supersonic Red has an Orange tinge/tint to it but will keep the top half Black as it has the Panoramic Moon roof. Got a custom car cover from California Car Cover Co. Been looking into changing the black cars seats to look something like the Camry TRD seats (faux/ leather: Black with some Red stitching.) Not making any car modifications as doing so increases Insurance premium and hassle with Motor Vehicle Dept. to register it, then possible law enforcement attempting to give you a citation. JBL Sound System is not a premium system at all, I give it 6.5 out of 10. Toyota will not have a Camry with a V6 in 2024, so go out and get yours today. 2023 was supposedly Camry's 40th Anniversary in the U.S. Apparently, Toyota going to celebrate the 40th in 2024 as there were no revisions to the 2023 Camry. Read about possible gimmick retouches such as New Exterior and Interior Color with some Badging on the Body on a 2023 Camry. I may as well spread frosting all over the car and put some stickers on the car. "Happy Anniversary" . Open up the panoramic roof and let a cake fly.
V6 with actual 8 speed transmission! Imagine if the maxima still had a real transmission.. or if the accord still had the incredible Vtec v6. This is probably the best option on the market
Big fan of the Toyota v6. I'm curious I have a 2 liter accord which is faster than the v6 Camry but you think I could get 200k on the v6? Not confident in the turbo 2 liter ..have had it for 2 yrs 24k it's flawless and quick but in positive equity thinking of jumping ship soon for more reliability.
Great question. We have had one of these Toyota V6’s well past 200k with zero issues. So yes 😎. Nothing against the Honda 2.0T. It should also see 200k with regular use and maintenance.
Have you had any major issues with it or major maintenance done? I'm stuck between the v6 and the 2.0T. I do want reliability also and I'm not sure how much the turbo ruins the engines reliability.
@@chideraagugo517 By and large, Turbos are reliable. Unlike the 80's, manufacturers have Turbos solved. The 3.5 V6 that we had never needed anything other than oil changes.
@@ttc_cars okay that sounds good, I have accepted that it won’t be as reliable as old NA engines that Honda produced but I just didn’t want to have to deal with continuous issues. I know the variable intake and the simplicity of the turbo in the Honda does give me a little more confidence.
@@chideraagugo517 I have 24k on my 21 sport. No issues at all. It rides like it's brand new off the lot. Also it's a sleeper. It moves and it's the low end torque that does it. I'd test drove both. It's faster than alot of 300hp cars. Things that I don't like. the seats to me aren't that great, the stereo is good enough for me but for most they complain about it. Lastly the paint..keep a eye on the seams in the bumpers. Had minor paint issue ..took 4 months going back n forth with honda and Honda doesn't want to help it's mostly up to the service manager at the dealer. I'm thinking it was from the auto touch less car was the the jets got too close near the bumpers and started the paint issues. You probably will save money getting a 2 liter accord because the v6 Camry probably like 40k. Also the accord has a fake sound added so when you are on the pedal you hear the engine/exhaust.
I would love for toyota to take the TRD and give it that makes it stand out from the rest of the lineup, make all the added aero features and stuff a complete package. Give it a turbo, give it two turbos, make it AWD. Slap the GR badge on it and give it that glorious 6 speed manual out of the GR Corolla or Supra. The XSE has the aggressive styling and the XLE has the 68 year old pensioner that wants to be 45 again styling.
Loving the shitnout of my 2023 V6 Camry. R.I.P to the V6. Actually wondering if you got yours from Burleson when I did. Their was a 2nd all white with red interior on my delivery day.
Oh that’s awesome. Ours was a press loaner from Toyota, but we are just around the corner from Burleson. Small world. Enjoy that V6, it will last forever.
WTH! I see different specs on the 0-60 times. 0-60 in 6.0-6.7 seconds is way too slow for this car. My 2009 Camry was a fast beast and had less HP. Can the XSE and TRD V6 go 0-60 in 5.1 seconds as claimed? I have a Infiniti Q50 Red Sport and love it! Now I am trying to decide between the Camry and the G70 Genesis for another car.
I recently bought 2023 camry xse v6. I don’t know why my gas mileage is 15 right now and 18 on highway. I got 1500 miles on my vehicle. I went to dealership and they said u haven’t drove enough to get the actual gas mileage. I don’t know whats wrong with the vehicle. Is it really factory issue? Or is there somewhere i can go and get assistance about my problem? Please help me. Does anyone has the same issue??
How many miles are on the car? The motor does need to break in for peak efficiency. That being said, avoiding fast acceleration and keeping it at the speed limit will help.

They need to add driver passenger seats that go up and down. The seats are to low and uncomfortable . I think the sporty look is great but not when you lose comfort. The roof need to be higher and get the seats off the floor. The Tacoma does the same thing. It’s a truck that feels like you are sitting in a beach chair.

As an x owner of a 21 v6 xse. It is awesome. It handles great. I didnt like the 35 tires. I got the fully loaded Camry except for heated steering and all wheel drive as I'm in westest Texas(El Paso). Don't need that.
I think the 2016 altima v6 matched this mpg but they never actually put the direct injected v6 whi h would've increased mpg by 1mpg I belive so yes its good mpg if you're not flooring it everywhere. I averaged 23-28mpg with the engine attached to awd in a minivan. I'm sure it was his driving that ruined the has mileage.
1 V6 would be a 2017 honda Accord touring, that's the last year they put the J35 series engine in b4 going to turbo 4s. The 9th gen accord V6 automatic has the VCM mode which essentially turns the engine into an I3 configuration. Steady state highway MPG's can easily hit high 30s and even regularly into the low 40s. It does not work in stop and go conditions though so city mileage is typically nothing impressive / low to mid 20s at best.
Everything you said is spot on....bought a 2018 xse v6...first non domestic purchase and it has been great....hated it in the snow...was going to trade it in for all wheel drive of some sort...changed the tires to Cross climate2,'s and made amazing difference...fun grandpa car to drive!!!!
You guys need to learn how to do proper test from 0-60 in general before you go on public and show off and claiming false information about cars. This V6 engine goes easily from 0-60 in 5.7 seconds but if you have no clue what you doing with the car throttle pedal then this comes!!!
We by all means know how to conduct a 0-60 run. But we are not Motor Trend. We conduct our tests on an unprepped surface and replicate what real owners will experience in the real world. We also test them several times off camera to determine which methods work best for the vehicle on hand.

Your dealer wants $2,500 for 7 year / 100K miles Platinum Plan, call around to other dealers as might get one of same plan for $1,900 maybe as low as $1,600.
Huge mistake, never ever Trade-In a vehicle, it is like going to the Pawn Shop. Sell your car Privately or may consider giving it free to a family member. Never sell to a friend unless they know everything you have done to the car and they know what is possibly wrong with it. Selling to a friend may end your friendship.
For example, your 2015 Vehicle you paid $35K and in 2023 is worth $20K. Dealer offers $14K as Trade-In, you just lost possible $5K to $6K in your own pocket.
Got my '23 Camry XSE V6 w/ driver assist pkg and navigation upgrade for $41K OTD. No dealer BS accessories/ add-ons.
This information you shared is priceless! Walked away first day, even though the Beauty of the car took my knees, needed to get more info. , Large down payment question, car has 2000 miles, 34, 9000 sticker price. How should I negotiate for low monthly payment. They asked for a deposit to hold car. I have every intention to purchase. But didn't act like it! Going back in a few days. And you have well armed me! Thank you. My car will be the silver with the black leather interior.
Dude. Deposits are refundable by law. 3 business days. Educate yourself
Respect for not forgetting Lotus
🙏
I don't understand why they offer the 4 cylinder xse with an awd option, but not the v6. Odd.
Camry is a official car for nascar racing
Looks better on outside than the new Camrys IMO.. (the front)
Enjoy that V6, it will last forever.
great video
Thanks!
2023, with embebed screen of 2020 model, would have been perfect 👌
We want a GR Camry!!!
YESSSSS!
Just ordered mine
Congrats, what trim?

@@ttc_cars i have almost 1600 miles on my car. I tried everything but never got better. I already filled my whole tank 7 times already and im almost at 1600 miles. Each time i fill my tank i get 212 miles total.

Quit your lead foot driving. Just pretend you're stepping on an egg while pressing on the gas pedal. 16-20mpg sounds about right for a V6 Toyota driven with a lead foot.
Will you do a review on a 2.0T accord?
Sure, we will do our best to get one in.
The 2.0T Accord is no longer being made. You can only get the 1.5T Accord
@@riseabove3082yeah man I know sadly wish they kept it but currently in the process on purchasing a 2021 2.0T Touring don’t really like the new accords tbh
How does the v6 xae have a proprod but my 2018 4 cylinder se have the strurts
Cost cutting.
Got one on order pearl white but black seats.
Very interested! Anyone tried to mod this with a turbo?
I call the interior color Bordello Red. Ordered one for myself.
😂
The red is way too bright. Looks clownish
In person it's cool AF. I love it!

Hey no worries. We don't market it well enough. Thanks for watching, and yes we are brothers, like it or not!
Toyota Camry needs a roller coaster ride at six flags or Disney?
They need to add driver passenger seats that go up and down. The seats are to low and uncomfortable . I think the sporty look is great but not when you lose comfort. The roof need to be higher and get the seats off the floor. The Tacoma does the same thing. It’s a truck that feels like you are sitting in a beach chair.
Do you use 0-20 oil? 600 miles and my engine uses oil.
We do not, this is not our car, it’s a press loaner. I am sure that is what Toyota is using in it.
@@ttc_cars Service guy and wife said it was good so we shall see. Mabe im crazy! Lol
Trying to find a V-6 XSE here in Northern New England.....threy're scarce. Also, that red cockpit is a big time deal breaker....uggggly.
I agree. The red is clownish
It is really bright in real life. I didn't get it due to fading concern (mainly the non-leather parts). Some peps really like the red though. Mine did come with the black roof not sure why they did that.😑
I love toyota
They gave the Corolla the new multi media system but not the Camry.
Because the Camry will be all new for 2024..
How much do you sell this Camry for?
I’m 6’6 and fit in the back seat just fine. I dont understand.
With the sunroof? I fit in the back of a non sunroof Camry just fine. Also I am taller in the torso than I am the legs.
As an x owner of a 21 v6 xse. It is awesome. It handles great. I didnt like the 35 tires. I got the fully loaded Camry except for heated steering and all wheel drive as I'm in westest Texas(El Paso). Don't need that.

i want a v6 on hondas
I really don't think their automatic transmissions can handle a V6.
What V6 gets better MPG's? This car gets better gas mileage then the 3 banger Corolla GR.
I got one 2.5 years ago. 0-60 5.75 seconds and 60 mile hwy commute to work at 78 mph w cruise. 34 mpg. 80 mph 32 mpg on 87 octane. Only thing that stopped me from getting the camry was the slow delay shifting into 2nd gear and hwy mpgs. But it's a diehard dependable engine.
@@marct352 mpg not far off. I had an es with the 6spd auto. It got 34mpg at 70 ish mph ao I would imagine the updated engine and ispd auto would do better. It did with my minivan. Overall it's a wash.
Did he say that the exhaust doesn’t sound nice?
I sure hope not
It looks similar to the scion tc 2016
Yee haw, guess I better sub since I live here in Texas! 🤣
Sweeeeeet! You know how to live.
60mph in 5 secs?
Nice interior, 10 years ago. Needs a full re design on the interior.
I can't stand that red interior. Why not do something like an earth tone brown or tan.
Good luck in the snow
No issues with Toyota Front wheel drive. Just use a good All season tire.
Winter tires are the answer
Just skip this year. Since 2018 the camry hasnt really changed the looks that much. In 2024 they coming out with a brand new look.
The seats move down.
They do, we had it down as much as possible.

Camrys just last. Others might not.
