Hi, needle is #120 (seems too big, but big size prevent problem with sticking thread to needle by glue from repair tape) and thread is "softbond" #40/69 (any wax coated polyester thread).
First is the regular masking tape for assembling. Second is the bainbridge sail repair tape for repair tears. But now i'm using self made repair tape from spinaker rip-stop (contender supercote 75) and thin doblesided tape for textile.
Thanks a lot. What kind of strategy would you suggest for a tear that goes all the way along the middle bladder? About 1.5m long straight? 1.bp.blogspot.com/_3gW12sigT-4/RixB3T_yURI/AAAAAAAAADw/Rh4gGW6gG3M/s400/DSC00579.JPG Like that but next to the bladder. Thanks!
What type of stitch pattern did you lock your thread with before the zigzag?
