I found this video sort of late, as a different video (about Paul Lambert) got me here. I'm not only a fan of Celtic, but also, a person struggling with mental health. Thus, it's no wonder I was saddened by his fate. But, to be honest, our club probably doesn't have a psychologist, so it's not much of a surprise that we weren't able to help him. I'm 50 now and Griff has been the best striker I've seen at Celtic Park since Henrik. Better than Hooper, Moussa and Eddy. If Kyogo gets to 30 this season then he'll be pushing him close.

It's a real shame it didn't work out for this guy. He was probably at Celtic at the wrong time too. Lennon was a useless man manager, and Brendan clearly didn't like him and preferred Dembele. However, Griff was one of the most naturally gifted strikers I have seen at Celtic and with the right attitude could have been one of the greats. He would have fit quite well into how Ange plays too, but it was too late.

I found this video sort of late, as a different video (about Paul Lambert) got me here. I'm not only a fan of Celtic, but also, a person struggling with mental health. Thus, it's no wonder I was saddened by his fate. But, to be honest, our club probably doesn't have a psychologist, so it's not much of a surprise that we weren't able to help him. The last set piece taker at Celtic we could call an expert.

as an Aberdeen fan i used to dread when we played Hibs or Celtic when he was playing for them as he was just a danger and could turn any chance in to a goal even ones where you thought there was no danger then up he popped and would score lol its just a shame that his off field antics cost him as otherwise he would be still playing in the top flight now. Personally i think the fame and the spotlight got to him and he just thought he could do anything and get away with it, at the end of the day he only has himself to blame as he will only be remembered for the bad things and not the good things apart from his 2 freekicks against England lol

'Didgraced' total over reaction the guy scored 40 goals in one season for Celtic (the most since henrik larsson), scored some great goals for Scotland and won a lot of trophies. His career could have ended better but he will go down as an excellent player in my book - Jesus Christ some people just love to kick a man when he's down.

Am a Rangers fan but was at the England game he scored those free kicks, that was incredible especially when he stepped up and scored that second, talented played who's career fell like a stone at the end within about a span of a year he went from playing with Scotland and Celtic to Dundee then Falkirk in the lower leagues of Scotland then to no man's land for a regional Australian team

If he was that great a striker he would have performed on the international scene. 4 goals in 22 appearances is pretty crap for supposedly the best striker Scotland has produced. If you look at the teams in the Scottish premier league, most of them are pretty poor.

It's a real shame it didn't work out for this guy. He was probably at Celtic at the wrong time too. Lennon was a useless man manager, and Brendan clearly didn't like him and preferred Dembele. However, Griff was one of the most naturally gifted strikers I have seen at Celtic and with the right attitude could have been one of the greats. He would have fit quite well into how Ange plays too, but it was too late.
