@@cupriferouscatalyst3708 I only started playing Rayman 1 a few days ago and have only tried some of the others so far, but I know that Rayman 2 is MUCH darker than this game, so I don't think it'd fit for that game at least. For this game though, I think it's absolutely perfect and I see it as an unofficial main theme of it too. Heck, it's even used in the intro.
I think each of the original three games has a theme that represents what they're going for. "Harmony" is the first game's theme - it's magical, peaceful, and fun. The second game has that leitmotif that's repeated through most of the soundtrack, often in a major key for Rayman and his friends (as heard in the end credits, for instance) and a minor key for the Robo-Pirates. Said leitmotif is adventurous and epic, fitting for the game's tone. Hoodlum Havoc's theme is undoubtedly the Hoodoo theme (which is also used in the end credits) - it's weird, offbeat, kind of spooky, but also really catchy and fun... just like the game itself.
What. Is this. What are my ears observing right now, and why is this so beautiful? This rendition of the song is making me feel things I dont know how to describe
Here I thought I was the only one who knew the amazing soundtrack of this game. Let alone knew this game existed. It's amazing that everyone here knows this music and loves this game as much as I. Could never get past blue mountain when I was 6 or 7. Good times
You know I wasn't expecting much, usually hd quality of songs is just like... a prefered version... but this genuinely blew my socks off within the first 2 seconds holy shit its amazing
Mind = blown I just yelled "What! There's a HD version?" in my building, nobody got it -- but this is a gem! Great work, I smiled at the drum transition just after 2min, it reminded me of "Red Drummers" level in Band Land -- really well attuned.
Wow, that timing couldn't have been better. I was just itching to listen to some more of your music. Lovely extension, I had always really liked what you did with the few Rayman 1 tracks in the RRotD soundtrack, so it's super neat to hear something similar done to more of the other (way too short) original tracks.
This sounds great and I think it captures the feel of the original well, the added parts are also great! My one criticism is that the flute notes are too long, in the original, there are some staccato notes in between the longer ones, but you already addressed it in the description. I still think it sounds good though, and it's cool that you used an actual flute for this!
I've been hearing this theme float around in memes and on soundboards lately. I forgot what part of the game it was from, but I instantly recognized it as Rayman 1 music.
If only Rayman had a 25th anniversary orchestra… Guess all we can hope for is the 30th… Edit 11/7/24: there’s been a rumor that Rayman 2 is being remade, and that even R3 is being remastered. I don’t know, but i am going to hold on to a bit of hope. 30th anniversary orchestra is still possible.
I like this soundtrack! This should be made for the Rayman Remastered Trilogy! It should have all three versions being Rayman 1 (PlayStation 1), Rayman 2: Revolution (PlayStation 2), and Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc (Nintendo Gamecube), please!

I wish Ubisoft remade Rayman 1 and made it not so frustrating and remade the music like this Also they should give it lined graphics (I dunno how to describe it but I meant not pixelated)
Ah, damn shame. Concidering its a direct contuinity to rayman 1 it would have been fitting, even if just for a single level or side things like cutscenes.
Doctor: You have 3 min 33 seconds to live

Ahw ❤
ive always seen this song as the unofficial theme for the whole franchise, its just so dreamlike, adventurous and mysterious!
GenesisGems that's interesting. How would you describe the mood of the franchise?
Amen

Rémi Gazel has passed away :'(
Beautiful OST he made with Rayman
RIP
From now on, I will probably think about him every time I listen to Rayman's soundtrack.
I'm crying full of nostalgia rn😭😭
This is so beautiful and powerful actually😭😭
What a gorgeous rendition of the theme.
Even the flute playing adds in a bit of flavor, even if OP finds themselves not liking their performance.
No other music in all raymans comes close to this. This should be the intro to all of them.

Theres that low spiritual sounding humm that you place in this track that just touches me in a way I cant explain into words. Its perfection.

I would like to hear this amazing performance before I die.
If Rayman gets in smash bros they better remake this for his reveal trailer

This or the hoodoo theme from 3
@@reekitomagnifico1463 or rayman's theme in rayman arena
Or the Tricky Treasure theme from Rayman Origins
I’m sorry to say this bro, but it sadly didn’t happen. #justiceforrayman
Me and a friend of mine did a duet on the vibraphone for the original version of this song for an event. We did really well and it was fun to play!
Amazing how this incorporates the themes from the Jaguar version as well as the more well known ports of the game! Decent for WIP! 😎
Wow. This is truly excellent. Well done.
My favorite soundtrack from my childhood games, and you've made it even better than in my memories... Thanks !
It is wonderful, I love how themes from both ps1 and Jaguar are married in your remix 😊
This is wonderful, such nostalgia!
This is awesome! Congrats!
SO AWESOME, BEAUTIFUL, Thank you
this is gorgeous.

Yooo this is sick!
It's Beautiful...
I was real confused when it went on longer, and with more parts, than I remembered, then I read the description.
The thing that makes this song better is your profile picture VERY attractive
Imagine Rayman Redemption with the HD Remakes of the songs
The flute is perfect for me, i dont know why there so much complaint about it, the whole music is perfect! :o
Extremely good.
I miss the past. Being a mere child and playing this game dying 10000 times ❤❤❤
I feel in heaven
Idk why but this authistic flute sounds so good with rest of this
If only I were a better flute player, lol.
Ok holy shit this is VERY FUCKING GOOD!
Perfection itself
10/10 well bloody done
now this on here, is awesome.
