Fun fact: these two teams met in the 1952 NCAA tournament regional final with Illinois winning and advancing to the Final Four. 72 years later Illinois improves to 2-0 all time against Duquesne in the NCAA tournament. Awesome game. Illinois is so fun to watch led by Shannon. I hope these guys win it all and Shannon has an NBA career ahead of him. Can't wait to see what he does next against Iowa State! And congrats to the Dukes and Keith on a wonderful coaching career and getting Duquesne a tournament win this year. So glad his team stomped those Mormons from BYU. Great season for both these teams
