- This is a new build that has both high dps and armor. It is a very good end game build and also very fun to use. Also you still run at 100% movement speed without any passives.
The 20 Damge bonus from the armor, is percentage (40+20%=48).
You can craft things without recipies, you just need to know the combination of materials
I didn't buy a single recipe with my second character, I just google them lol
I did it more for the sake of the video
@@AzexV2 and it's good you did. Depicting every detail just makes the video better. Always gotta think about people who're just starting out when creating build videos.
the traveling merchant in teh starter city will ocosionally sell paladium spikes, which when de-crafted make paladium scrap
The copal armor is better in my opinion no negatives to stamina or movement speed
Also those are actually percentages the scale armor is a bit more accessible early on and can build more physical damage. Also hound mask with scale body and boots is the highest phys damage armor in game, but more of a glass cannon style.
guuuhh so many content creators running circles for recipes. Do you people not realize that if you manually put the components together manually in free crafting, you can still build it and you discover the recipe?!
DarkSteel That’s sick
It's your back pack if you take it off and then check your stats you'll see its zero again
Step 1: Get a shitload of silver
Fr, starts out the game with 10,000 silver.. Ya, ok..
Yea I was getting excited until I noticed that
my dude, load up the game, give the beach guy a bandage and secure your house, then sell everything you own for about 100 silver. Now buy an alchemy kit (60 silver) and brew warm potions and astral potions and health potions with the materials available at the Cizero vendors. Then sell all potions. Next go to your house and sleep for three 24hour days. This will refresh the shopkeepers' inventories. Now repeat the process. You can get about a 150 to 200 silver profit from each cycle. Finally, take an entire day to farm around 3 to 4k silver. Get good gear with that and kill giants for their axes which sell for 300 silver a piece. Also, fight lower level dungeons for loot to sell. Also also, kill those thunder lizards in the spire of light for gold lich mechanisms. Craft them into gold lich swords and sell them for 300 silver a piece. hope this helps.
You should buy gold bars instead of carrying around all that silver. They are worth 100 silver at every trader but only weigh 0.4 (100 silver weighs 1.0)
Nice build :)
Wow, I never knew that. Thanks.
gold bars decay
@@tmtlopes ooh, didn't realise that
Someone told me they decay faster the more you die. Dunno if it's true.
tomateLopes you can sell and rebuy them tho so it’s not that big of a deal.
It is 48 because armor damage bonuses are %. So it's not 60 damage total but 40(from weapon) + 20%(40) = 48.
And then the Marble Greataxe is 48 +20% is likely rounded up to 58 damage.
as always great video keep up the great content
My first/main character is very close to what you made. I chose to go with no mana and did a couple of skills differently but at the time, I had no idea what I was doing. One thing I need to do is remake that armor. What I'm using now is sub par. My weapon is the Starchild Claymore. It may not be the best weapon in the game but it's not too shabby either. It's fast, does good electrical damage and has a good impact.
This is my exact build, it is nice due to the survivability but I still havent gotten the reduced heavy armor effect passive in lavant so traveling is quite a pain
there is actually palladium in the ghost pass and in the conflux mountain, but I would definitely say the forest is way easier to gather palladium or if you have enough healing the marsh has a ton of it on small islands around that giant mana stone.
The caravan merchant in cierzo can carry palladium spikes in his inventory, same with the wandering merchant in chersone. I ended up with a full ammonite set of armor just exploring the beginning area for a few hours.
shoudlve mentioned that if you go blue chamber you can get the blood of the giants passive, for 40 more hp
The minus 4 movement is from your backpack, if you took it off you would neutral instead
A higher level endgame version of this build would be zing armor and tsar greataxe
starchild claymore is a better weapon, since it does lighting damage and lighting debuffs the target
Also, reduced speed is usually from your pack being at a certain % close to its max. Idk the exact numbers. But know the features in the game but not explained to us
Ur slower only if it's over max
Thats not true. The 110 pack slows you when your at 85 of 110.
Again, not listed. But its in the game. Idk if its percent based or pack specific.
I believe the 4% movement speed loss is due to the backpack
I feel like the best just straight physical damage 2h is probably the tuanasaur great axe. Can’t remember exact stats but it’s straight physical, has a good move set/attack speed and even causes a bleed. Tsar does super high damage but is just too slow I feel.
I think that extra dmg from armor is 20% more not +20. It shows your weapon is 40 but your dmg total is 48, hence why i think it's percentage based
Great someone beat me to it. thanks Joseph, thanks for stealing my thunder. Great job dude
Why do they do it that way, well whatever thanks
Far easier to exploit enemy weakness than to use the percentage based attack armor.
You never need recipes... dude. Feel bad you went all the way back
if someone already said it, if not the backpack gives the minus movement speed
Addendum: All backpacks that impede your dodge roll slow you down from 2%-10% regardless of if they tell you (I.E. Trader's Backpack)
This was almost my starter build. Only difference is i got gong instead. And didnt take any mana. You get MORE than enough mats to make weapon infusion items. And i took brand bc my crimson armor buffs it (i use the 1h sword ability too) but carry the frozen mace too as a back up. Although i don't think the 1h mace ability works if you have a shield?
The negative 4 movement speed is because of your backpack.
How'd you get past the laser wall?
-4% movement speed from the back pack
Actually its depending on how much weightload you have. So if you are close to 110 you might even have more then -4% ... Thats why my Archer is tryin' to have less than 35 weight on his backpack :)
There are better armor sets with more attack damage bonus. Like Pearlescent set and Crimson plate set. Early game you can use Scaled set, it's cheap.
Also you could've killed 2 alpha tuanosaurs then craft the Tuanosaur Greataxe it's stronger and faster.
Ya but not nealry as tanky
Azex I’d argue that zagis mask/chest are amazing for a build like this. Slow you down a bit but more of a damage bonus and very good protection as well. Good in desert as well if you like running that area.
Do you think a runic ranger would work?? bow+runic magic.
ummm... the runic doesnt really add a lot of damage buffs, mostly protection, but u can try it
I don't see any synergy between rune magic and ranger. The best bow skill seems to be the piercing shot for the extreme bleed (according to wiki its 1% health per second). So if you want to build around that you could go and look for things that scale up physical damage. The ammolite set gives you +20%, the coralhorn bow inflicts pain (-25% physical resitance), disciplin adds 15% Physical. You also could double dip and get the horror bow with extreme poison (3 damage per second) and apply both dots and than around away and watch as enmies health withers away, if you are into that playstyle.
i recall seeing a video (or maybe I read it) that you can equip a bow and have the bow skill to lock on targets further and you'll be able to shoot lightning at them from further away
@@ProficientWarrior you still would need to have the skill that let you cast without a lexicon.
@@OnizukaXIII correct
carry weight, anything in your bookbag can contribute to a percentage negative movement speed
Was happy to see this until I saw you go into the magic :( I wanted a pure no magic build
U dont have to, its just for the infusing, u only put 1 point in mana and the 15 to stam health and mana will stack with it
So can i do this build without going for magic
@@yeet6806 there is not one magical skill in this build, but you would be stupid not to use some mana as boons are ridiculously good, especially when paired with the best breakthrough in the game, the shamanic resonance - and astral potions are so easy to make so whenever you sleep you just chug one and you get your mana back, just a turmip and a star mushroom.
you need a brighter lamp.or buy the runes no break trought point needed to make the runic bright light i think
you need the first passive to create the light
@@AzexV2 i just checked you only need a book for a second in your left hand to make it green blue with a book . had to check tho to make sure when you said that.. :P edit i could not buy any thing allready spent my 3 points else where and the book and runes for green blue just cost gold..
@@AzexV2 nah just the runes you need the passive to shoot the lightning bolt
seems ilke people stil dont know about wolf backpack . .. ? i go for it early on.
And why did you run back for the recipe?
outward.gamepedia.com/Outward_Wiki
Look up the item there, saves you the silver, the recipe is given to you for FREE if you craft an item when you don't have the recipe originally.
Saves a ton of Silver.
Not a bad build, yeah damage bonus armors are kinda meh since they're percentage, need higher damage to get more out of them. If you used a tsar or pillar hammer would be better.
Agreed, the only reason I didnt is because not a lot of people have tsar
Tsar is hard to find, I've only found 3 so far.
How do you transfer items to new characters?
Get a second controller, give items to second account, get other character, bring second account in, dump items. Or you can do it the long way. Find legacy chests, put 1 item in all 4 chests, new character has to run to those chests (not 100% sure just assuming this part) get 4 items.
@@naezjinra i think when creating a new character you can select the legacy chest items that you wanna start with. no need to run to them as a fresh character
@@Lotuswalker not in my experience. Just started a new character, selected the legacy from my first character which had items in 3 of the 4 chests, and I started with none of it. Haven't gotten back to a legacy chest to see if it's there yet, but at this point I'm assuming it would have to be.
There's better +dmg gear than this and it has decent protection.. no resist though
that's insane dmg , damn. i found an exploit to have an infinite backpack and never have to slow walk again
really?
9:30 why dont you put the backpack down? i see it in a lot of "how to" and "tutorial" videos that people are fighting with there backpacks on...didnt you play the tutorial?
There are passives that allow you to roll with backpack, it was out of habit
@@AzexV2 but aren't you burning more Stam if you swing your weapon with backpack on?
Yes but worldege
How in the world did you get so much silver???
Alchemy buy a bunch of water skins to make it easier but basically buy oil and use clean water at a alchemy station for warm potions. Nets high profit even if you buy the mats. Also making mana potions with the turnip and the star mushroom and clean water at an alchemy station. Nets high profit. Also you can pick up all weapons you find turn em into scrap if it's a cheap weapon and hoard them bring them to varndel prison and give it to the npc and get 5 silver per scrap takes a long time though, vandel prison is on the south west part of first map. Also at the prison another npc gives 15 each health pot and 5 per bandage I stock up on a lot of health pots and a lot of bandages and make 2 to 2.32k a run. Npc merchants take 3 days to. Restock mats for crafting btw. That's the easiest ways I found to make silver and always keep the prison key in a pocket and the keeps key. Good luck mate
ChromaticJester oh man you're a god send! I had no idea about any of this im definitely doing this!
Also selling items in Levant gives more silver because their economy is inflated which is pretty cool stuff cost more but also sells more
Or, considering that he used 2 controllers to cheese the game into transferring items to a new character, it's likely he did the same to do the unlimited silver "glitch".
@@greghumphery1976 true but 3k+ at 27 on every load? that's alot of time xD
Oh, how I wish I can play at your level.
You had negative movement speed because your max stamina was decreasing
2 unskippable adds? downvoted
I didn't get that at all ....
It's RUclips, not him...
