Imo, in this day and age there are so many old brain things we need to let go off albeit it's easier said than done and this is one of them. I decided not to comment but I will reply to yours. Pregnancy, childbirth and early childcare are not an easy tasks, even for the strongest of women. There are a lot of intricacies in that 9 month journey with it's resulting psychological effects. Dealing with these effects coupled with taking up a full time childcare can have very serious consequences on mental health and these often lead to women " letting themselves go" . If you have a child with your wife and you want her to maintain her pre- pregnancy and marriage looks, then you definitely have your own role to play. Helping her out with the childcare for instance gives her more time to herself so that she can take better care of herself and not let herself go. No woman wants to lose herself after pregnancy but the increase in responsibilities with little help offered resulting in her having little time for herself is the reason why most women find themselves in those situations. If you're a man who marries a lady because of her looks, then prepare to not have kids or prepare to take on some childcare responsibilities.

Some women also let themselves go after marriage and childbirth, If your husband married you cos of your looks that's gonna be some grounds or excuse to cheat.
I decided not to comment but I will reply to yours. Pregnancy, childbirth and early childcare are not an easy tasks, even for the strongest of women. There are a lot of intricacies in that 9 month journey with it's resulting psychological effects. Dealing with these effects coupled with taking up a full time childcare can have very serious consequences on mental health and these often lead to women " letting themselves go" . If you have a child with your wife and you want her to maintain her pre- pregnancy and marriage looks, then you definitely have your own role to play. Helping her out with the childcare for instance gives her more time to herself so that she can take better care of herself and not let herself go. No woman wants to lose herself after pregnancy but the increase in responsibilities with little help offered resulting in her having little time for herself is the reason why most women find themselves in those situations. If you're a man who marries a lady because of her looks, then prepare to not have kids or prepare to take on some childcare responsibilities.

I feel as a woman the qualities that you have to look for in a man must be beyond superficial, will this man be willing to take me to places in the most undesirable of circumstances? Will he have my back if life hits a snug? I believe a lot of people ignore a lot of these things.
I feel the youth nowadays take marriage at it's face value. You know, having a (lavish) ceremony with someone and having fantasies about living happily ever after, not considering the length of time and circumstances involved in "forever and ever" or "till death do us part". This aside, the prevalence and normalization of divorces is also a factor in some of these superficial marriages. A lot of people think they can get married to whoever and get a divorce if it doesn't work out when it would have saved themselves a lot of heartaches and other results later in life if they had had the time to carefully assess each other before the marriage. Anyways, the meaning of marriage has degraded over time and this is the level it has gotten to now, where a person who knows very well that he or she can't commit to one person still goes ahead with a ceremony and undermines the value of the sacred institution with all sorts of heartbreaking and gut- wrenching actions.

I can tell you are really mature. Most of the ladies are lacking in those traits. You see the kind of things some ladies say in Date Rush and you can only figure it's a staged show.
For some reason, I can't sit through 10mins of date rush. I can't pinpoint the exact reason. Some say it's fun but I'd rather watch Tom and Jerry, no offense if you like to watch it.
