I’m back with some more Elden Ring! We take on mini-bosses, explore new areas and weapons. Lots of fun stuff! As mentioned, I’ve already filmed the next episode ahead of posting this. Tibie Mariner boss never disappears, he just teleports around the corner. If you summon your horse real quick you can get to him in 5 seconds or less. It actually helps because you have time to just wail on him with attacks until the skeletons can catch up to you.
Is that the weapon the tree sentinel drops? I can imagine it does some decent damage! I love that too, we can all play however we want and it’s so cool to see the different approaches! And to be able to experience it together as well! 😃 what class have you gone for?
@@Toadmiilk Yeah, it's the tree sentinel's weapon. I started as wretch for the flexibility, then mostly went strength/faith. Melee with a few spells for buffing defense and damage and removing status ailments.
Aww poor Boc, bless him! I managed to stumble upon him to. Nice to find something familiar. Wow that was a lot of mini bosses! Jeez! You did great 👏 You might be interested to know this episode was my entertainment while giving blood plasma this afternoon, so thank you for helping to save lives 🙂 Loving your approach, makes me want to explore more as well - as tempting as it is to just keep over-levelling and be a scaredy cat! 😂

I think I'm at about the 20 hours mark at this point. Level wise I'm in the mid 30s somewhere. Actually was spurred on to take on Margit yesterday so that's an achievement 👍 Was a good time. Still a bit of a frustrating game though. Need to go back and have another go at your stonedigger troll friend. Weirdly I think I'd already cleared Box's seaside cave by the time I found him so who knows how it works 😂 Maybe it was a different one. Most annoying thing for me at the moment is just finding sites of grace, as I go somewhere and think there should definitely be one nearby but...?! What's your fave encounter you've had so far? Either from what you've shared or in general. Yes taking it easy, no strenuous activity for 24 hours. Slight mark on the arm but all good 🙂 Thank you for the laughs. I find it so interesting that I have not explored any caves or underground areas yet and I’m so far up North in the game about to fight another main boss! 😵💫 the game is so massive but it’s also amazing how many different paths you can take without feeling like you’re in the wrong path.. if that makes sense? Anyway! I’m about 30 minutes into your playthrough Toad! Im digging it! 🥳🤗

It’s so great to see that the Toad Bloodborne energy has carried right on over into Elden Ring already 😆. So many funny moments (favs were the fart noise near the start and the rude bug interrupting your chat 😂) - but equally you destroyed what like 5 bosses casually in normal Toad style! Loved it and loved the pacing of the episode! I’d happily watch episodes like this, or longer ones like you’ve done before 😁 thanks as always 💜

I went with the samurai class I'm creating a Dex/Int build it's coming along good so far there are so many nooks and crannies and I only feel like I scratched the surface can't wait to see more of your playthrough. May the good blood guide your way!!

Another great episode and exploring a whole new world, let me share this whole new world with you, 😂😂 Aladdin movie/song quote. But their is a lot to explore and wonder to know about. This game really likes its magic especially when you got the stats up and high to use them, cause they are so powerful as you saw with them chunking damage it’s wild to see, I’ve learned myself it’s good to invest in FP especially if your gunna use it. It’s awesome seeing you try a different play style and it helps to get a fuller experience and creates a new experience as well with all the different builds and styles which makes the replay ability so much more fun Also I don’t think it happened in the video so maybe it happened off screen but the Uchikatana is a really cool weapon pick up, so if you hit the enemies a bunch of time ls in a row it builds up a bleed meter which can be vary depending on the resistance of the enemy but when that meter is full it will cause bleed loss like it does to you, and can chunk damage between 200-500 damage per bleed loss, which is very useful especially early on But other than that it’s amazing to follow you along the journey and ride torrent along with ya lol and I’m glad your doing a faith build here cause that means all our strength for dark souls right 😂😂 big sword energy 😂😂

Tree Sentinel was an absolute nightmare for me, not being someone who's played a soulsbourne game before. I kept rune farming and levelling up, but could never cope with him whenever i returned. He was as bad as margit, for me 😂
Somehow, I do have the hardest time making out some kind of storyline of this game... This one is a completely different story, nothing like Bloodborne in my opinion. Bosses look like fun though. And there seems to be a lot of them. I'm wondering, if the pickaxe would have helped with the Stone Digger Troll... But Your firebombs really did a great job there. Seemed almost overpowered, even. Sure did look nice though. The other one, the "Bloodhound Knigt Darriwil", in the first couple of seconds I just thought "how do You beat something, that is so quick (and creepy)?" but look there, it just kept doing the same pattern over and over again, until the last minute of the fight, that is. Must have been somewhat stressfull, still, You managed that one pretty good, too. The Tree Sentinel, cool idea with the mounted fight, worked nearly perfect, except the one blow, but thats ok, that thing is gone anyways. Oh and the super cute interference in the last minute, wish I could have seen a little more of that. But we still could hear him doing the "dog-noises" in the background until the very last second. The game looks like fun, I dont have the feeling, that this one would be any harder for You than Bloodborne. Enjoying every minute, please more of that! (ps: no easter eggs?)

Great job taking out the tree sentinel, he sucked. I'm just over 80 hours in and just when you think you've seen it all there's another surprise waiting around the next corner. My only advice is to explore everywhere and have fun, and if you haven't yet buy a torch from Santa. I hope that you're having fun.

Haha such an annoying enemy! Good tip on the horse, I’ve learnt a lot since this episode and torrent braves the action with me slightly more 😂
Remember to stand in front of those black statues near cliff edges as they light a path to caves and secret passages.

Golden halberd has been my main weapon for most of the game. I love the variety of playstyles on offer - feels like there's something for everyone!

Toad get yourself a belt lamp like from BB. You can buy one from a merchant.
