The three locomotives being towed all have their connecting rods disconnected, typical for locomotives being towed for scrap or for repair. It's not a true double header, since the second locomotive is also inactive. The horns referred to below may be from the lead locomotive itself. I saw the double headed QJs in Iowa (USA) some years ago and I believe they have air horns that sound like that on the video.
The freight trains in America is not as good as the Chinese freight train because the American freight is pulled by diesel. Chinese steamies are really good at it! Even though I am not a big fan of China, I am very proud of the locomotives in China for hard work!
Great video of this freight train being hauled by two China Railways Class QJ Steam Locomotives.
Another Classic clip from ISO8 & thanks for the best Asian Steam RR videos on the net
Beautiful. 2overhauled locos returning to Daban. The second loco seems like returning after a major repair.
@SkipW thank you always, best regards
Very well done, old man ;)

Its amazing video!
Very nice... Thanks
Nice video,hello from Sweden.
@AlcoholicSemenStain sorry , these are China's loco QJ type
Excellent video. Is it possible the two 'dead' QJ's are destined for export?

@applecounty QJ6988 & QJ7081 were shipped for USA,and two dead QJ on this movie are different from them.
Thanks 5 star
very very nice video!!!! ;-)
excelente!!!!
Saludos Alejandro
I think this a funeral train of engines going to scrap, or engines that were just retired by CNR are going to the Jitong
