- Siblings Elmer and Elsie were living alone in a junkyard until Hope For Paws came to their aid. After getting Elsie safely out from underneath a shipping container, rescuers saw Elmer come to make sure she was safe. He refused food or pets until he knew his sister was OK.

I honestly thought these puppies were grey in color until I watched it again to see it was actually both of them that were actually white furred. How adorable they both are with AMAZING Personalities!!!!

They look very far from clean when rescued.
The total loyalty of the brother to his sister brought tears to my eyes. That's what true loving embodies.... loyalty and concern for the other you love's well being. And people say animals have no souls..... bullshit!!! They exhibit MORE humanity than the two leggeds walking the planet and especially since Covid-19 brought HELL to us‼️‼️‼️
I think they had loving home in their past. Something happened, but those are such lovely dogs.

@Tha One ●Wow! Can't speak on the circumstances for THAT response, but obviously a lack of something or behaviors have provoked that comment. Humans.... the things we do to each other animals don't do . Totally get where you're coming from and don't need to know the facts of the situation. Which is precisely why humans could learn many things from animals. We are imbued with higher abilities, but does that make us the smartest ones on the planet? Thinking we lost some things.....
I fell in love with their story, too! What a heart-tugging rescue and a fabulous, positive result. In these dystopian times, it’s wonderful to see caring, selfless people featured online.
I think animals teach us how to be human. The way we should be.

They do a lot of good work but I always wonder why he pets them on the head. Dogs don’t like that in general and strays especially find it uncomfortable. You would think he’d know about basic dog behavior.

I think so too. Definitely abandoned, someone dumped them both there. How anyone can do that I'll never understand. So glad they were rescued and are living their best life together ❤️

Wow, these dogs were so affectionate and caring with each other; he just kissed her and kissed her when they got back together. Then at the end of the video, one of them climbs up on their new human and gives her kisses. They are very good, sweet dogs. Glad they got a loving home together !. A dog's life !! As it should be for all dogs.
Wow! That was almost incredible -that in that very tight spot, someone was able to threw the rope precisely to the neck of one of the two rescue dogs.

Oh my goodness, I have tears of joy rolling off my face as I write this. I could hardly contain myself when I saw how worried the brother was about his sister - he wouldn't even eat when you know the precious thing had to be hungry. That right there is unconditional love. I am so grateful Hope for Paws does the work they do, and I am beyond thrilled that both of these amazingly perfect dogs got adopted together. I don't think they could have survived without each other.

I love how the rescuers were So sensitive to the needs of these pups. - even keeping them together for their bath & best of all together for their great adoption!

Can’t even begin to imagine what they must’ve gone through, and yet stuck together something a human being rarely does. The love and concern the brother showed for his sister is just priceless. Thank you for rescuing them and keeping them together.
I am new to all these videos and my heart is breaking. Just breaking ☹️😔. I would take these 2. I have a little rescue dog named Hop Hop. I had a rescued redbone hound named Sadie Mae Ifor 13 years, but I lost her not long ago to a brain tumor (with seizures). I still hear her sometimes. It's so hard.😔 And then to see these 2 dogs in this state is too much for me,, but seeing them rescued is EVERYTHING. Thank you for the kindness shown. God loves a giving heart. (I love you Sadie Mae).

My heart is happy. My first thought when they were rescued was "I hope they'll be adopted together" and so it was! How wonderful they struggled together and now they'll be loved and cherished together.

This just breaks my heart with emotion & love for these two all over again! This is part of a rescue from Eldad Hagar's Rescue called HOPE FOR PAWS. They don't have an actual building. They use a lot of fosters and volunteers. They go out and rescue STRAYS no matter what the animal but mostly dogs and some cats and take them right to a foster home. They take them for medical help 1st, a bath, get them neutered/spayed, vaccinated and then to a good foster. I love how the pets they SAVE never go into a county or any shelter. No-kill shelters are better than starving & being loose on the streets but foster homes are so much better for traumatized, sometimes sick, confused and sad pets. Many people started fostering during the worst part of covid. I hope
