As a Fox Assembly lead, I endorse this message. Your refill procedure isn't what a fox tech would do but it absolutely has no problems and is extra thorough. The seal head also should be torqued to 50ft/lbs (typically) but that's fairly difficult without special tools. Also a good thing to look for is when you compress the shock fully before gassing the reservoir that is stays full compressed, if there is any squishiness there, there is air trapped inside.
Wish I had the ifp tool a couple months ago. Had to do this for a customer without it. I still got it done but I’m sure it would have been a lot easier with the tool. Plus I removed the needle 💉 insert and tapped a Schrader valve setup into the cap. Way easier to charge this way.
@@JordonRenn93 I see a Guy say the manual say's to leave a 1/4 inch of fluid above the IFP after the shock is done and your ready to install the resi cap. TIA
@@ryaneleczko7972 I used an Upholstery tool to pull the plunger in and I just pushed it down with my fingers. Kinda a pain but it works. I’m sure the proper tool would make things a lot easier for sure.
I know RMATV is the messenger here, but who really rebuilds/replaces shock fluid every 1500 miles/annually or anything even close to that?? Maybe I'm in the minority......

I have a couple questions I’d like to ask you before tearing into my shocks to get the correct tools for the job if you don’t mind.
@traetudor4103 If it's snow or atv related, I might be able to help ya

I see you empty all the oil out of the reservoir. My fox 2.0 performance series manual states to leave 1/4 of oil above the IFP .
Wish someone would do the fox mono that comes on 900S non-rez.
How do you replace the piston cylinder if needed.
Are the imaiges of a manual a Polaris Service manual or a FOX specific service manual? Trying to figure out which one to order. thanks
They are from Polaris Service manual.
@@rmatvmc one more question then. Do you sell the ifp tool for a 2021 rzr trail with the fox 2 podium shocks?
@@stilllearningagain We currently don't have one for the fox shocks.
where the known instructions that are displayed in the video ?
Are the nitrogen pressures the same for the podium qs3?
I can't find the manual for the podium qs3. It's the only thing I lack on getting this done. Local shops don't know the pressures either.
I called fox directly for my podium rc2 shocks. Very easy to get a hold of and they had the info I needed
and where is this oem diagram?
You can check out the Polaris OEM diagrams here: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/oem-parts/Polaris

how many pounds of nitrogen do you put in it?

Do you have a link for the ifp tool?
Not right now, we'll get one added. -Charles
@@rmatvmc Thanks! I found a few similar options but I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on the wrong one
