His recipe is pretty solid though when I cook, I usually put wine in after I sauté the garlic to deglaze the pot and get all that garlic goodness, then I put tomatos in, followed by sausage/meatballs and sugar after the sauce starts to boil
I'm so glad this video was made. Thanks uploader. The Godfather just had so many delicious food scenes. Back in the day (70s), quality movies laid a lot of emphasis on food and their symbolism.
There’s an extended scene in Part 1 where Sonny is talking to his mom about Vito getting shot. She leaves the room and he takes bread and dips into the tomato sauce she was making.
I like how they made al Pacino they next boss of the family a real Italian and not games conn even tho he is a good actor but not Italian he never really took over he was just in charge until the don recovered but wasn't Italian either
i like how you included the sicilian message as a "food" scene lol

Clemenza's meatballs and sausages looked so damn good in the movie
I could drink red wine & eat all day with that food he was cooking.

Not a movie but the Sopranos had some great scenes of food too.
The Clemenza Sauce part is one of my favorites I still make it every now and then with spagetti
Lesson here: if you are a criminal, avoiding eating Oranges
Also avoid the suspect persimmons which are clearly green peppers.

That and dipping in olive oil is just too good.
