As someone from Budapest, I always wondered why our metro system wasn't in Mini Metro even though being a historically important system. I was so glad last year when they added it!
Love seeing you coming back to this game! Can't wait for the next video

Hello, I have discovered your channel with Mini Motorways and now I'm watching your Mini Metro videos. Your series helped a lot in approving my scores in both games, so a big thank you! Quick tip (but maybe you already know): when you select a map in Mini Metro, click on the medal to see the challenges and then click on the icon in front of the challenge you wanna do. This way, the game will automatically pause if you don't meet the conditions and it will allow you to fix the situation. It is very convenient for challenges with the eight stations per line condition. But maybe you prefer to achieve the challenges the hard way ;)
Glad you like my videos :) yes, i do forget about that button - i dont think it existed for the majority of my playing. I will have to try and remember the next time a new level comes up
Even though this game lets you switch tracks and trains as a moment's notice, I think mini metro prefers for you to build tracks that take care of themselves and not to have you micro manage (mini manage lol) everything. Whereas mini motor way, while harder to adjust on the fly, wants you to micro manage the traffic. That's just my thoughts. I just think mini motorways has better suited your gaming style.
I found it a learning curb in Motorways to have to be so prepared for a destination to overload - after having just been reactionary to any issue in Mini Metro. I do think i am a better Mini Motorways player than Mini Metro though - for basically the reason you said. Switching trains to fix issues has always worked, so i never had to learn how to correctly build sustainable lines. And that really creates a ceiling in my high score potential
Is there a reason you don't connect the ends of your lines to make a full loop? That way the trains don't have to turn around and go all the way back to get to the other end of their lines.

Seeing my city's metro system like that is so unusual… And I love it!

In my mind its easier to manage. There are arguments for both lines and circles.
i think my best in budapest is around 1k
