Would you have an electrothrottle unit not for testing but as a stand alone throttle-by-wire unit? I'll be managing injector pulse and ignition with megasquirt(activations well as the receiving of air mass, load amongst other things) but want to find a unit that is stand alone for butterfly activation and use. I was thinking of building an arduino set up like your other video but thought I'd ask for me to skip the build and r&d involved in building more units. Thank you for your videos, lots of great stuff on here.
Could one use the diy build kit to just use the function for opening and closing the butterfly and would it handle modulation for keeping the butterfly in position?
Nice video. I'm having issues with my 2003 Tahoe. it's in limp mode right now. I thought it was the shift selonoids but problem persists. I'm thinking it's going to be my throttle body sensor. it has many codes that are popping up. P0120,P0220,P0300 etc.. I just ordered a new throttle body sensor from Amazon. I'm hoping it will do the trick.
from your video.. what type of throttle body come from what cars? need to know diameter size of that throttle body.. it seem same as mine car but larger in diameters.. tq
There are 3 or 4 ELectronic THrottle Body manufacturers and they all use the same DC motor technology. The ELECTROTHROTTLE works on all DC motor actuated ETC. The circuitry is calibrated to allow for the right throttle opening speed to also check the internal dual or tripple TPS sensors. The diameter is an outside size not related to the ETC motor itself. As far as the ELECTROTHROTTLE is concerned, they all look the same to the circuit. Thanks for posting.
You don't have to build anything here. The WOW-FUEL-INJECTOR Pulser and Tester is a complete unit. It is ready to use for professional or serious diy auto-repair-diagnostic jobs. Here's the link for it..... www.autodiagnosticsandpublishing.com/Injector_Pulser_Tool.html
Roberto here the link for the FUel Injector Pulser you asked about. I can be reached at 201-674-5003 and here's the link... www.autodiagnosticsandpublishing.com/Injector_Pulser_Tool.html
Nice gadget. But not necessary if one has a snap on scanner or factory scanner. To clean throttle body, simply disconnecting power from the connector and clean is also fine.
***** Hello, nice to hear from you. Well NO, that's a big no. You CAN NOT FORCE-OPEN the throttle plates on an ETC system. On some cars (Ford) you can press the accelerator, hold it and TAKE A CHANCE and clean the throttle. NOT A GOOD IDEA. Bi-Directional controls of the ETC is fine to see general operation, but not to test ETC Spring, ETC Dual-Tripple TPS Sensors, Slow Actuation to see TPS blind spots. PLUS, the ELECTROTHROTTLE is a full SOLENOID actuator tester. Have issues with the Transmission EPC Solenoid? This is it. The ELECTROTHROTTLE is a one stop solution for Throttle and Solenoid testing and diagnosing. Makes sense?
I did this today with a drill trigger assembly from a modern impact driver which did the same thing. But nice try on selling your product lower the price and it would be a useful tool. Ill build my own with one of these a.co/1U0JObN $9.00. Its just a pwm circuit with a trimer pot controlling the frequency. ASE Certified Master with L1.

Yes, you need a Custom Unit.

Yes, you need a Custom Unit.from us
So random question. Is there a difference between the VDO and DV-E5 throttle bodies?
Thank you. For more training, videos, software and equipment visit my site.

I'm interested in your fuel injector gadget but i don't like to build it myself and get room for error another option?

can this be used for stepper motor
ETC systems are not stepper motor based and neither are solenoids. No it doesn't do stepper motors. Thanks for commenting.
How much does it cost?
Here's the link to the webpage again. It's all there... www.autodiagnosticsandpublishing.com/etc_electrothrottle_electronic_throttle_tester.html

Hi Jarret!!
Can you make a video on how to make your own testing device!!!
All of these are scam,. Beter to buy car with cable management throttle acceleration
Ok
All car can used??
Yes, all ETC cars can use the ELECTROTHROTTLE.
Thank
