Babe wake up new president mass effect video just dropped
The other classes: You always act like you're better than us.
Engineer with it's own Paragon interrupt: I am better than you.
Vanguard: **Loughs in Manguard**
I don't get it, I only ever play soldier in me1 and sentinel in 2&3. Please explain.
@@SerenityPrim3 In ME3's Omega DLC there's a paragon interrupt that only shows up if you're the Engineer class
@@SerenityPrim3in the Omega DLC when you get to the decision where to have to choose to sacrifice people or not to win the mission, the engineer can paragon interupt and just solve the problem
@@jakebishop7822 Oh great I'm looking forward to it then, I'm currently playing engineer in ME3 LE
First class I ever played was the engineer for the whole trilogy and I was shocked to learn that it was the least played class. It's so fun especially in 3, a true glow up from where it started in 1
Exclusive interaction on Omega in Mass Effect 3, because engineers aren't stupid grunts.
Same here... really came into it's own in 3.
Ditto but I usually play as Engineer first in any game that has an Engineer class. I actually played my first two Mass Effect 1 and 2 playthroughs at my best friend's house then got Mass Effect 2 almost as soon as I got a PS3 (I would have gotten it with my PS3 but the store I bought the PS3 at was sold out of copies so I got Fallout: New Vegas then got Mass Effect 2 the upcoming weekend) and played through as an Engineer again.
My first and third Mass Effect 3 runs were as Engineer then I did another Mass Effect 1 Engineer run once the trilogy collection was out. What's funny is once Andromeda was announced I decided to do trilogy runs as each class before it came out but there I saved Engineer for last because I wanted to reward myself by holding my favorite class until I was done with the others. And my only, so far, Legendary edition run was as an Engineer.
@SignorAde Infiltrators: I have that power, why can't I use it?
just played it for the first time and it was soo good in 3
Sentinel in 2 and 3 gets put in high tiers because of that Tech Armor Drip.
it looks goofy af, wish it just looked like fortification does
I’m Commander Shepard and this is my favorite Mass Effect content on RUclips. Enjoy this small credit chit on me. I know it’s not much but your videos do help lighten up my day.
Also the Soldier is the best class hands down. Tanky boi is best boi.
W Shepard
Thank you Commander 🫡
@@primeradiancydo you think in walking dead chista be with Ralph
Sentinel is the tankiest though. In 3 you can get tech armour fortification build for passive 85% damage reduction at all times
Where's the Tier list link???@@primeradiancy
One of these days, Obama is gonna start posting his gamer tier lists on social media and our minds will be blown
Soldier is my fave just because of how well it can easily fit with basically any squad comp. There are so many squad mates with biotic and tech powers, playing soldier allows for an easy amount of balance. Plus with how little pure soldiers there are in your squads, it adds to the role play of the games. You’re Commander Shepard, a basic human soldier who has been trained on the razors edge to become the greatest warrior in the galaxy, all without any biotic or tech based powers. Just guns & grit. Poetry.
Many a time i get on Me3 multiplayer and being the sole soldier. Everyone doing biotics and tech flipping around and then there's me just spraying and praying and ramboing through foes because "I've yet to meet one who can outsmart bullet"
God I miss playing as my N7 Destroyer
I count FOUR soldier teammates outside of God knows how many tech and biotic ones. Ashley, for both and ME1 and 3, if you save her, James, Zaeed, and Grunt. Pure soldier to me, in that regard, feels pretty shafted in selection.
As a fellow Soldier main across all the games (Including Andromeda), I salute you sir.
Best squad I'm ME1 is soldier Shepard, Kiara, and Tali
I'd love to see a weapons tier list. You can divide it by one video per game if it's too long. I'd just use the tier X/V or highest tier versions for ME1 and ME3 weapons. It's also something that could include Andromeda and it would make sense.
yeah especially with the upgrade system
the spectere shotgun with explosive rounds DECIMATED all that stands in its way and then id use either shredder or tungsten (depending on if im fighting the geth or not) on the AR
really once you get those the onlything thats painful is the moonbase drone spam but that can be soften'd with proton rounds
with some exceptions from later games weapons really did peak at 1
This and a Race/Species tier list including Synthetics EDI technically being her own hybrid of Rogue Human Ai and Reaper Tech, plus whatever Geth she took into her Knowledge which inevitably becomes her.
EDI being a benevolent AI with every Races knowledge makes her into tbe Potential of a God , with the Stength of a Krogan. The beauty of an Asari Human Hybrid. And the Humbleness of a Hanar .
Andomeda is just gonna be Bio-Converter spam
Black Widow should be God Tier. It's the only gun I used from the moment I could acquire it
@dafatman2269 Venom Shot gun is way stronger(when charged). Faster reloads, more options for firing, can hit people behind cover, is way more fun to hit people at range because it's like a motor strike at high distance.
I dare you to try and Beat 18 000pts in the Armax Arena with a Widow Maker, I doubt you'd get 6000 tbh.
It's a High B Low A at best .
Infiltrator my beloved
On Vanguard if you have a prior playthrough in ME2 to level up at the tutortial area , just Max out Nova and Charge, then your Class skills. Choose the one that gives you barriers after a charge and coolsown reduction.
Then proceed to press 2 buttons the entite game and beat everything except the Laser Guided missles for the Reaper on Rannoch.
and it's so much fun
i never bothered with nova. just stacked weapon/headshot dmg with the wraith with choke/pierce. insanity is trivial.
@@thejunkmanlives nova is a fun power
never stop making these.
it never gets old.
thank you.
As a loyal Sentinel player, the class is so good. You can deal with any situation, including priming and detonating things by youself. Add on that Throw can basically get you a nice breather if people come up on you it's hard to beath. Though on Insanity it does feel less godlike, since even with tech armor enemy damage can rip your shields apart pretty quick.
My first playthrough of the legendary edition was a Sentinel class after only playing the Soldier class previously.
Insanity playthrough also increases detonation damage, making primers and detonator combos more powerful and important.
Sentinel, especially a high cooldown speed build, is one of the few classes that can actively *solo* everything the game throws at it in Mass Effect 3. It can prime and detonate every single type of combo with the right build. Companions aren't even necessary, and it's still tanky enough to handle any incoming damage.
I'm a tiny bit salty that it got put into S-tier for ME3 instead of God-tier because God tier is where it belongs.
@lyrasinclare1784 Proportionally to enemy hit points, it's more like higher difficulties don't DECREASE combo damage like they do everything else.
I did my me3 insanity as sentinel. Tech armour and fortification with power recharge on rank 6 gave me 60-70% damage reduction while tossing out powers as fast and hard as an adept. Powers that can deal with every enemy type. Better weapon weight than the power classes so I used a lancer to melt enemies as well. I have never had an easier insanity experience
Detonate things huh? Like how Kaiden detonates nukes?
Played Infiltrator through my run of the trilogy. Got so good I was able to pop a shot through the visor of the shields consistently. Can't do that anymore, but it felt SO satisfying.
Honestly, I main Infiltrator, because I tend to use medium-long-range weapons in the trilogy plus I tend to switch between Sniper, Assault Rifle, Shotgun, and sometimes Pistol or heavy weapon (ME2).
God, I love Infiltrator. Especially with the semi-auto assault rifles as backup to the sniper rifles (the Mattock + the Mantis / Widow is super friggin' fun).
In ME3, the infiltrator is farcically god-tier. Combine the i) black widow with ii) Marksman as your extra power, and the iii) "use one free power" evolution of cloak, and you can do the Shepard mirror match in the Armax Arena on Insanity without pausing combat.
I play as a vanguard mostly, but infiltrator is wildly superior as a matter of combat effectiveness.
Pretty solid list.
As an Engineer main who likes ME1 the most, life can be painful at times, haha
I just play vanguard in Me1 and then shift to engineer in 2 and 3
As a Vangard in my last trilogie run, gotta say that the boss fight with Shepard Clone was the most brutal fight i ever play of all 3 games. God this was intense. Also this class is very fun to play.
Flare bomb from a distance, then charge in and two tap nova to make them run and keep following.
Clone fight was tough
Probably the best clone fight tbh because it just becomes an anime battle between the two Shepards
I second that boss fight! My first play through was with vanguard and that boss fight caught me completely off guard
Reminds me of Tela Vasir in ME2. Amazing.
Not gonna lie, I've played soldier on all my playthroughs and was about to start a new one. This vid came in clutch. Probably gonna go with Engineer
Where my Sentinel Gang at?!
Dead like Kaiden in ME1
Sentinel is underrated
Do a Mass Effect Race/Species Tier list includes ones not used in Squads, you can excluse Humans if you choose.
Soldier best class anytime any play through
Been using Sentinel in my second playthrough of the trilogy and I love it a whole bunch.
I'd love to see a video of the competition of who plays Mass Effect the best, sounds like a lot of fun!
I mean let's be honest, it'll probably end up being Obama. Dude seems to no life ME.
Then we will get a surprise winner of Bernie.
So it'll end up being:
Bernie
Obama
Trump
The 1st ladies
Bush
Joe.
These videos have been a godsend, my man. My partner just finished her first run through the series as Adept and, as we were watching through your missions ranked tier list, she was asking me questions about how all the other classes played.
But for real, your talent with this exact type of content is unmatched. These transcend the gamer presidents meme and have become legitimately fantastic stuff.
Agreed, they’re helpful and entertaining.
Ngl this has helped me pick a class to do my Mass effect Insanity run. Definately saved me sitting in the character creation for 1 hour figuring out what class to main my insanity difficulty
Im going for the plat trophy for the legendary edition. Vanguard has been so helpful in both me 1 and 2 on insanity. Think i’ll go infiltrator for me3 insanity run though
Quite literally just watched through the full series of mission ranking for like a third time then this wonderful surprise pops up in my feed.
Wonderful timing and honestly, I love playing as a Vanguard even on Insanity. It’s all about squad make up, Joe just sucks ass.
So I'm pretty sure the acolyte is an asari shotgun. Also overload is the single best tech ability in the game. Not only does it force reloads, it will also immediately blow up flamethrower enemies when they get to red health, even on insanity. It's part of why Miranda is such a good squad mate early on in omega.
The Acolyte is a heavy pistol, you're thinking of the Disciple the semi-auto Shotgun.
@@primeradiancyI look forward to walking dead michonne season 3 and 4 videos 👍👍
I pretty much agree with this tier list besides the Engineer and Infiltrator in Mass Effect 1 not being in S/A tier... the Engineer can be almost as good as the Adept with the tech explosions and the fact that all the powers do health damage along with their natural damage, you could really put groups of enemies in a hard spot when used with good timing, and the Infiltrator can 1-2 shot enemies including sub bosses and bosses if you pour everything into the sniper stat and use the right weapon mods, yes it makes your character a glass cannon essentially but the point of that class is to take combat from afar anyways as long as you hit your shots you can take care of anything except maybe colossi because they have a lot of health for days but i know i damn near 2 shotted Saren with HE rounds. To be fair it was on hardcore not insanity so i could entirely wrong in this regard but its just from my experience. Fun video as always
My first character was an infiltrator and I don't think they get enough credit. They ranked the same as Vanguard in this list, but because they can decrypt in ME1, and because they can fight at any range, unlike the Vanguard, they are far superior even with biotic nonsense. Bypassing fights is broken, but not even nessisary, and when weapon choices get unlocked in 3, it really opens up multiple playstyles.
Mass Effect 1 is the only game where Sniper truly honors it's title, allowing you to pick off enemies from ranges where some enemies just cannot respond in kind. Combined with it's Decryption/Electronics and you can actually bring along anyone you want without consequence to your growing dragon hoard of loot.
@@kuronanestimareME1 infiltrator is kinda broken. With the explosive rounds, and all skills in sniper rifles, I was one shotting strong enemies. I could take on the geth colosus and armature.
@@mightybeniah7346 I can't stop myself from playing Infiltrator. It's just so good and fun, I love it every time... ESPECIALLY during the stand at the relic in Arrival in ME2. It feels super badass.
Infiltrator is so busted, and just gets stronger as the trilogy goes on
The 130% damage boost on your first shot makes ME3 infiltrator with a Widow or a Javelin or a Claymore the most busted class in probably the entire trilogy. Also you have a 3 second cooldown no matter your weight if you cloak and fire as soon as you can. It's so fucking op lol
Vanguard in ME2 insanity starts weak but turns into a god real fast. You get IFrames from shield break and charge, and with max CD reduction you get crazy uptime on just being immune to damage. Sniper nests are still annoying but the Kasumi gun early helps a lot with them. Charge, shotty, punch clears almost everything. By mid game the only thing a well built vanguard has to fear is charge bugging out.
Soldier in ME3 can proc the ammo effect on enemies with concusive shot and then trigger them with a follow up concusive shot assuming cooldowns are low enough. With around 1 sec cooldown you can just spam this the entire time without having to shoot at all. Maybe boring gameplay wise but the explosions never get old.
I have this idea of this series where George or Bill are just getting into Mass Effect and Barack, Donald, and Joe guide them through the games in their own games.
...
Did I say this already??
I believe you floated the idea before, the opening to this video was somewhat of a test for something like that.
@@primeradiancy It does seem like a pretty cool idea. Like the noob's reactions to say, Sovereign, Bring Down the Sky, or Arrival.
Infiltrator in ME:3 with the weapon loadout being the Kishock Harpoon Gun, Blood Pack Punisher, and M11 Suppressor is an unstoppable god
I've been a dedicated soldier player since ME1, but not gonna lie, ME3's multiplayer got me to check out the other classes, and man, I was missing out. Speaking of which, here's a video idea. ME3's multiplayer character tier list. It'll probably be pretty long, but I can see the 3 presidents making some good arguments about some characters. Just make sure the Volus is at S+ tier.
Everyone knows that Soldier is the chad class
I’ve played the Mass Effect trilogy countless times, but I’ve only ever played two classes. Soldier and Sentinel. Started off as a soldier and eventually switched and stayed with Sentinel. All about defense.
The infiltrators cloak can be seen as defensive too as it stops enemies from attacking during it
infiltrator and vanguard are the most unique/fun classes, at least in ME2 and ME3
To add to mass effect 3 infiltrator. You can also use any weapon you want since tactical cloak ignores weight capacity and has its own standardized cool down (5 seconds I believe). So as long as you use cloak before shooting/using another power your power recharge will be 5 seconds even if you carry all 5 weapons.
Cloak's CD is based on how much cloak you used.
I love the tier lists but the presidents should do a full play through of the trilogy
I have outstanding news!
Hey, random thing, watching this video and hearing comments about Vanguard inspired me to begin making a homebrewed Barbarian subclass in DND inspired by the Vanguard. And making it has been really fun, so thank you for the inspiration!
I love your videos man, say it once and will say it again, you make me be a better ME fan, thank you for pointing us in the way of legendary knowledge. All hail L. Jenkins!!
Ok I just found this channel and I have to say I haven’t laughed so much at a video in a long time, great work
Definitely agree with most of this. Adept is god tier in one. I often don't use it because it's game breaking but, it is a great power trip. I usually go sentinel in one for jack of all trades build. I usually go infiltrator in 2 because snipers are great and with the invisibility it's OP as hell; gives you opportune shots and if the enemy gets close you can run away with it. Cloak saved my ass numerous times. And Infiltrator in 3 fucking slams because of all the amazing sniper rifles.
me1 adept being a power trip is very real I can attest to that
I just did my first playthrough of these games and played Engineer all the way through. It was fun but ME2 pistol only was brutal
NGL I usually play to the derelict collector ship ASAP so I can pick up AR training and get the Mattock. Well actually, these days I just mod the game to allow weapon selection and then get as close as I can to the ME3 system with it.
'you don't understand how much Barry rides for sentinel'
Time flies when watching these videos! Good stuff. Great refresher for someone with over 300 hours in each agame.
Late, but soldier got robbed in ME2 where it's at its strongest. Mattock's fire rate isn't slowed down by adrenaline rush, and it still gets the damage amp.
Vanguard in 2 is so damn buggy with charge. Half the time it won't work at all for no reason.
I usually play Sentinel and I can confirm that it isn’t good in ME1 but it class almost doesn’t matter in ME1. But Sentinel is an absolute tank in ME2 and ME3. And the Tech Armor is OP as hell! Don’t have anymore Medi gel? Just use tech armor? Need to charge through an area or just want to skip the fighting? Use Tech Armor and run straight through the line of fire. Your regular armor really weak? Just keep tech armor on cause you can use it so often. Getting surrounded? Use Tech Armor as extra protection while you dart into the line of fire to find new cover. Low on ammo? Use tech armor, when enemy bullets destroy the armor it creates a powerful knock back explosion. Tech Armor ensures that you are never backed into a corner, no matter the situation. Tech Armor and the entire class in general is OP as all get out. It combines some of the deadliest and coolest biotic powers with easily some of the best tech powers. It is pretty much Vanguard but with fewer biotic abilities and the bonus of OP tech abilities. If you are playing on insanity difficulty you need to give Sentinel a shot. Easily my favorite class in the series.
Sentinel was broken in 3. One man army.
Let's go best president ai channel
im not one to usually say this, the basic soldier class was god tier. i truly felt like shepard playing that class. it was so strong. i played engineer and the others and it just felt like something was missing. that unbeatable feeling, that you cant be stopped. Infiltrator felt as close as you could get to ghosts in starcraft
Just what I needed before bed 😎👍
i love playing as assassins and especially assassins that use magic in some way in every game that lets me so obviously infiltrator is my shit, on insanity that hit and run playstyle is so fun. one moment you are poking the enemy with your sniper rifle and the next moment you are slipping through the enemy and smoking one of their guys only to dissappear. Never gets old
Ah, the Grissom Academy mission. I tried for at least a half hour to clear it when I realized my squadmates had glitched and stayed in the room behind me the whole time haha. Did clear it on Insanity though.
This is amazing 😂😂😂 The first class I ever played was adept and did really well but then I discovered Sentinel, Infiltrator and Engineer. The one I recently finished was Vanguard and it was probably the easiest run I’ve had but I’ve loved all of them. The only one I’ve never played is Soldier.
solider is actually pretty fun
Mentioning the widow I hope you end up doing a weapons ranking. I know that one will take a long time but between that and armors I’d love them
The one thing i was kinda hoping the remake would do was give each class a unique interaction like the Engineer.
It could be easy two for each game, soldier giving a speech to the marines being attacked by Rachina.
Adapted could be the one putting up the barrier in the suicide mission.
I think ME1 Soldier should be higher while ME2 and 3 Soldier should be lower tbh. ME1 sentinal also seems a little high when compared with Adept since I think they share alot of the same weaknesses, but other than that I mostly agree with what's been said here. A good potential follow up video would be on the ME3 multiplayer characters if you've played it, since some of them introduce new and interesting abilities and playstyles.
My favorite class is the Infiltrator. Big Sniper rifles, cloak and the ability to set bad guys aflame!
God I love Infiltrator...
The real strength of soldier in ME1 is that you get heavy armor, which looks badass and has some of the best sets.
my first playthrought of the 3 games was with engineer, its really fun seeing your powers grow throught the game, and a surprise for me discovering that engineer is so op on 3.
These videos always mention things I didn't know, and I've been playing these games for almost 10 years.
I was sick last night, so waking up to find you had uploaded another banger of a video really lifted my spirits. I've never played a Mass Effect game but still find all your content entertaining.
I've only done one playthrough (finished last week), and it was all Soldier. I played mostly on Hardcore and almost entirely forgot to use Adrenaline Rush.
I loved replaying 2 as an Infiltrator. It's hilarious to run through the Collector Vent section and only killing like one enemy.
Never thought it would be the Presidents who convinced me to finally give up Soldier and have fun playing an Engineer, but here we are.
YESSS I WAS WAITING FOR THIS!!!
7:52 JOE DO NOT COMMIT BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE BIIOTIC GOD
I've watched all the presidential tier list vids from this channel several times now.
Been waiting to for this for a while. So my two cents after playing these classes through the trilogies on insanity.
Soldier: Absolute juggernaut in ME1, Discount Max Payne in 2. Detonation and DPS machine in 3.
Adept: Bioware was on red sand when they made them in ME1, Nerfed horrendously in 2, mad bomber in 3.
Engineer: Not that great in ME!unless you have AI hacking maxed. Can lock down and shred most defenses in 2. Combat maestro in 3 that can control the battlefield.
Vanguard: A match made in heaven in ME1. Shotgun Wizard!
A raging bull in ME2 thanks to charge. But sadly snubbed due to wonky targeting. ME3: Its potentiak fully realized IF you play smart. Know when to charge, when to tank, and watch out for sync-killers.
Infiltrator: the last thing you'll never see in ME1. ME2: taken literally thanks to cloak along with some speed run strats! ME3: now you can nuke from long range and close range!
Sentinel: Flexible AF. You want to debuff or crowd control, they on it. The pistol and lack of marksman is a fair trade. ME2: Flexible tank that can shred any protection and is a walking bomb. ME3: Just fantastic. So many ways to deal with enemies and theres even a way to make yourself temporarily invincible using defense matrix, tech armor and the sentinal melee kill skill buff on their fitness tree. You can do the Superman pose in front of a cerberus turret.
Also, Joe's gaming skills are as a good as his diplomatic skills. Which explains a lot.
I was originally a Soldier player, but then Infiltrator pulled me in and I haven't touched another class since, lol...
Genuinely using this as advice for what to pick as my class thank you presidents 😂
I have wanted to see this!!!
Does Adrenaline Rush not give you a damage boost besides slowing down time? Because in ME2 and ME3 everytime I activate it I go from damaging enemies quite a lot to outright melt them down completely.
Maybe its because I play on normal and this does not apply to Insanity, but I swear Adrenaline rush kind of destroys enemies when activated 🤔
it does have a damage boost
@@wokeuplikedis1500 thanks for the confirmation!

PrimeRadiancy back again with another President's banger.
It'd definitely be interesting to see a ranking of all the bonus powers. Lash is just too good, and is godlike on a Sentinel. It's also hilarious with the shield piercing evolution
I remember lashing kai "estrogen soyboy" leng around Tim's room as an adept. Best ability in game, no contest.
Still mad they did our boy Kai Leng so dirty. Everyone who read the books was so hyped from that trailer shot.
wait, me3 vaguard isnt broken? all you do is stack weapon dmg/headshot dmg, impact force for charge. wraith with choke/armor pierce. on insanity you vaporize everything thats not a heavy. heavies might take 2-4 hits, maybe.
having beaten the trilogy on insanity multiple times as different classes soldier is easily the most busted tbh. same reason best dps in me3 multiplayer is n7 destroyer. shooting things with tons of passive weapon dmg buffs is far better than any cc or utility that tech/biotic powers give u. survivability isnt really a mechanic to worry about in any of the mass effect games when u can stand on walls and never get hit by anything lol. boring but it is what it is
In ME1 you're also straight up invincible. The survivability is nuts. In ME2 AR+Mattock trivializes the game. ME3 your dps is still bonkers and you can also play mage just spamming incendiary conc shot and blow up everything.
This brings me joy.
Another good one. Thanks.
...How about ranking every ME weapon next?
All 500 of em? Thats gonna take a looooooooong time
Really only worth it for ME3 since gun stats in 1 are the only thing that matter, and all the guns that appear in 2 have a equal or better version in 3. I'd rather see a tier list of the ME3 multiplayer classes.
Engineer in 1 is awesome. It literally turns enemies off. You turn off their guns, their powers, and shields. You can't be stopped like the adept in 1.
I wonder if they actually played Engineer in ME1. You can hack Geth and drones among all the other things that engineer can do such as neural shock. Not my favorite class but a close second to infiltrator.
Honorary mention to shotgun infiltrator for being the only other viable shotgun main other than classic vanguard. I was one of the early trailblazers using it in ME2 and immediately started maining it on Salarian infiltrator in ME3 multiplayer. Nothing was as satisfying as running up as a salarian assassin wielding the heavy krogan claymore like some cursed fusion of salarian and krogan warfare.
The problem with shotty infiltrator in ME2 is giving up the best sniper. It's a tradeoff many aren't willing to take.
You did adrenaline rush dirty in mass effect 2, taking heightened at rank 5 practically makes the game a point and click adventure
Thanks to the almighty algorithm for suggesting me this channel! I'm addicted!!!
The Presidents continually mentioning ME1 Tali and never Garrus is Slander!
Also they dropped that ME1 Infiltrator C so fast I got whiplash. I may have some bias as a Wrex/Liara lover, but damn, isn't having the ability to open locks and repair the Mako on a medium armor sniper worth anything??? I would have at least hoped B tier.
As someone who loves the sentinel class I see this as a total win.
Engineer s tier baby! Those self initiated combos are so tight. And spamming drone to make the banshees spin around lmao
Infiltrator is alway my favorite class to use
Gotta go with Don here, you dont need crowd controll if there isnt a crowd
I am late due an extended prayer to Jenkins. I am a soldier through and through.
For sentinal. It is the tankiest class in the games. You can stack tech armoR AND barrier before a fight. And during the fight whenever your shields go down, you just alternate between those 2.
I was able to never have to worry about cover as sentinal. I would just stand in the middle of a room and constantly be casting tech/biotic spells and reapplying shield as needed.
No need for cover, no need for guns.
Also in ME1 , If you first played soldier and unlocked assault rifle then you can choose it as a unique ability when you play sentinel and you become unstoppable
Good representation of the engineer class i love that class to bits❤
Infiltrator in OG ME1 is C or D tier, but this looks like Legendary Edition footage which makes it A or S tier minimum. The sniper headshot multiplier they added almost trivializes combat if you have remotely decent aim.
Holy crap I had no idea Engineer in ME3 was that insane…imma have to give it a try next time I play
Great video
I just think that mass effect 2 soldier should be at least A tier, the class is ridiculously strong If you maximize adrenaline boost, shock trooper, disruptor and inferno ammo.
Barriers and shields are not a problem if you use adrenaline boost and the right ammo types for each encounter, and be able to use AR, shotguns, pistols and sniper makes you a beast that cannot be stopped at any range
The thing is you gain access to other offensive powers which is where soldier becomes alright in ME3. The freeze ammo for squad + mind control with damage + zappy laser beam gun is a real crowd clearer.
Vanguard, Soldier, Infiltrator, Sentinel, Engineer, then Adept.
S S A A A, and C Tiers respectively .
The only time I touched the other classs was me3 multi-player where you could do other speices as well
I started my first playthrought with soldier and then changed to Adept.
But then I restated with Sentinel and joined the god tier gameplay experience, plus you look coll as hell with that armor drip
On an unrelated note, Don would 100% use his mugshot as his pfp just for shits and giggles.
Yesterday I was playing an insanity playthrough for the first time (just ended ME2 insanity) and after the academy I whispered to myself... "for you, Joe"
Old Barry has these tier lists loaded up.
tl;dr me2 adept is underrated because its fun comes from getting better at it on your own rather than by simply leveling up
While I agree that ME2 adept was nerfed to the ground (that and ME2's overall stiffness in movement) I think that also paradoxically makes it one of the most fun classes. Somehow ME2's biotic detonations weren't mentioned? These things were powerful even before ME3 and that not mentioning the ability to one shot husks with ragdolling abilities once they're stripped of their protection.
ME2 Adept is underrated specifically because it takes a while to get the most out of it player skill wise. Kind of like a puzzle for you to solve. Where to place down your singularity for a better result? Can you use your surroundings to your advantage to send enemies flying out of bounds ME1 style? Sure you can't use lift to deal with heavy enemies anymore but you CAN use singularity to slow them down. For example, Scions. ME2 Adapt is very much a "figure it out" class rather than level up so you can do better damage class. Which to me makes it so fun and replayable.
My first ME2 adept run on normal was abysmal. I was so bad I didn't even know I could do biotic explosions (I only learned about it when I started replaying ME3 this is how bad it was). Spent some time watching other people play this game, and kept improving my Adept runs until I was somewhat satisfied with myself. Don't regret it one bit. The most fun gaming experience I've ever had aside from Citadel DLC.
There's a guy on youtube that made a series of me2 adept tutorials which helped me improve. Check out ThatAverageGatsby. He hasn't uploaded in 10 years but his tutorials are still great imo.
And honestly "you can't use big guns as an adept" is such a weak argument against this class in general. My brother in Christ, we don't need big guns when we have M-6 Carnifex, SMG Locust (or Tempest) and biotic explosions. You can go through the entirety of ME3 only ever firing during scripted events.
On another note this class can be pure hell without squadmates lol (damn you arrival dlc)
It's a very squadmate reliant class from my experience. Which I guess helps you to learn to order your squad better instead of doing everything on your own .
