The Engine we encountered this time was old and very rusty. It has lost its carburetor. After taking out inspection inside the engine we found the exhaust valve was almost stuck, We re-polished it and tried to recover everything to the best.

It's not a GX35 engine because it has pushrods, it's either a GX22 or a GX31 engine.
I repaired my fathers GX35 engine which is an overhead cam engine because it stopped running on him,the inlet valve had carbon buildup on it so I merely pulled it apart, cleaned the valves up then reassembled the engine using the original 17 year old piston rings,it hasn't missed a beat since !
This type engines are not reliable. Materials are poor in quality
One thing that is reliable in the world is a Honda motor.

Well nice job on the restoration, just a couple of suggestions. When you paint an engine use masking tape on all internal surfaces, Don’t paint piston chamber, check the piston for right size. Change the pull starter. Otherwise nice job, keep them coming, don’t listen to criticism the people making the remarks couldn’t do what you do anyway.

Obvious question, why was it tossed out, most engines are junked for good reason.

Ребят, этот мотор работал совсем недавно, видео полная постанова. Он спалился тупо на кольцах и цилиндре . фу таким быть псевдорестовраторщиком
Сто пудов постановка два ключа хреновая отвёртка и всё внутри живое кустарщину на коленке помыл перебрал вот и вся реставрация хотя индусы там все так в поле делают возможно без разбора масло поменял почистил поставили карб на место ( странно куда он делся ) и завели бы и такой

Bu look out : never paint on the engine ball bearings, neither on the gasket lines ! And the paint on the plastic fuel tank - especially on his cap - its lifespan is very very short.
Для человека, который в движках не разбирается, это может быть и выглядит красиво, а для инженера-механика по двигателям внутреннего сгорания скажу - руки надо отрывать таким "реставраторам". Или делайте по уму или не беритесь вообще! Мне хватило того, что коленвал в сборе с шатуном, поршнем и кольцами просто помыл в черной жиже без разборки...
