Good video as always Owen, are junior 1 bedrooms really renting for $2600 these days? That surprised me.
All day, you got 1 beds in Burnaby going for $2400. Langley ppl are asking $2200.
@@SS-mz9oz it's even spreading to the interior. All the landlords can thank Ravi, Eby and Trudeau for their recent raises. Oh, and the hotel owners are really thanking Ravi.

Hi Owen, does the 2024 allowable rent increase of 3.5% only apply to rentals with existing tenants when their lease comes up for renewal? My condo is a corporate rental that only has tenants for one year, so am I restricted when I advertise for a new tenant? Thanks.
No you are not currently restricted to raise rents between tenants. Once a current tenant vacates or gives notice, you can rent/advertise the new rental as desired.
