The matchmaking system is terrible and slow. Whats worse is the online community is the trashiest ive ever encountered in my seven years of playing. 90% of the people you'll encounter are rage quiting, broken mechanic exploiting, run-and-jump-kunai spamming, malevolent, angry sadists. The AI dont appear to be programmed to choose optimal actions in a given scenario. They just act more or less randomly which makes them terrible opponents. The only thing saving this game is that it allows for exciting, fast-paced, and rewarding game play between experienced players that does well to capture what it might be like to experience a battle between ninja with magic powers.-naruto 11.A Shallow Cutscene Spammer, Not a Fighting Game My god, this is one the most shallow Anime action games ive ever played, its up there At the top. XXXXX, UP+XXXXX, DOWN+XXXXX, are literally the only attack combos you can do. Its blowing my mind there are a bunch of dudes going sweaty try hard off of this cutscene simulator like its a legit, well designed, skill based, fighting game. Just Madness. 1✨ for simply stuffing all of Narutos story into a drawn out, visually amazing, single player 1 button attack campaign, But -5✨for how shallow you made the combat for a series about ninjas with powers. The literal example of all flash no substance.-naruto 12. Storm 4 despite being repetitive and "boring" in your words only holds true at lower levels. Storm 4 has a very dedicated competitive scene and they have been able to do lots of stuff unintended by the developer and finding more and more stuff to further increase the skill ceiling and making matches way more interesting. I use to like Dragon Ball Fighterz (The best Dragon Ball game) gameplay more than Storm 4 but ever since I found the competitive scene I've been leaning wayyy more on Storm 4 now.
