Ava 2 and Caltrops means you can block off 12 strides (plus because a base is 2 strides you can extend that to 13.9 strides if you can be bothered to measure accurately) and with Snow Leopard you can jump out and then back behind it to safety.
If Warcrow is successful, they might easily do sectorial armies in the second edition. I actually like them mixed but full ork or full varank is visually awesome
Alborc looks too sweet to pass in mixed list. His "the Warg and the Crow" ability granting extra activations could be extremely powerful in a game where each side gets around a dozen activations at average. It enables stuff like "double charge" with hunters + marauders, or charge with skinchangers + spell from evoker. Even bulwarks will struggle to withstand that.
Nice but i think they lack some options to deal with the hegemony tincans. The Bucklermen are already tough and hard to crack open. I think the Evoker is actually only a stress reducer. Sure her buff may come in handy too, to get rid off those nasty tinmen, which are blocking objects/targets, easier. But in the end very situative.
Honestly, I don't think the Evoker is that essential, I have a hard time seeing it right now. For me it wouldn't be a difficult decision to leave it aside. And even more so thinking about a full Varank list with the Ice Archers. Speaking of the Tundra Marauders, I'm really excited about them. They seem like a very interesting unit, and with their Tattoo they can also reach places the opponent doesn't expect.

So, you're not a fan of having friends then?! But yup, that... that'll work.

Agreed and only a matter of time, I think!
Hunters will be available separately in a few months
They will indeed!

Absolutely. The output he enables is just nasty!

Yes, I think, as with so much, it depends. But I am still not really happy leaving her at home.
The game is in an interesting spot since options are limited for the moment and each development just adds options
It really is. It can be a little frustrating waiting for the next thing, but that's also part of the fun.

Yeah, I guess I just like flashy lights and explosions that magic brings.
Totally agree with the Marauders, such a gorgeous set of minis too.
I think you're breaking avb on some of these units
Nope, the Marauders are AVB 2, and the Hunters are... I think 3? Certainly more than 1. So, no, no AVB issues here. :)
