Olegs, you should REALLY be careful what you're saying!
Most of the listeners of this podcast are NOT Euroleague referees or experienced FIBA referees or likewise, but rookies trying to find a tip to continue better doing their job.
Saying, "best communication is zero communication", is the worst piece of advise that you can give to a referee (of any level)!
It will for sure be interpreted - a coach/player asks about something - referee refuses communication! (because, this is zero communication) - and this is a SURE way of loosing any control whatsoever, on and off court! They'll be perceived as "ignorant, arrogant bastards out there with a whistle in their mouth"...
I'd like to see YOU refusing communication, surrounded by thousands crazy supporters, with Obradovic, Jasikevicius, Ataman, Messina, or so...
Don't be pretentious Olegs - REFEREES ARE NOTHING ELSE BUT SERVICE PROVIDERS - and believe it or not, nobody buys tickets to watch referees!!!
