This is one of those songs that happens once every generation, if you're lucky. It's my favorite from its album (Walk the Sky) and one of my favorites from the band.
The lyrics are fascinating…I’ve heard Mark say in an interview that that line about waking up to eternal life is a Myles lyric and it was interesting due to Myles’ views on faith.
I so love this track! When Myles goes into that major "Life" ...into that Outro, just gives me goosebumps everytime. ....and theres more awesomeness to come. Youre doing great things here Sammy. Btw Fil...youre ability to dissect and analyse lyrics astounds me. Listening to all these tracks again, with your take on it, has actually made me appreciate their songs even more - im not sure how thats possible!
I'm wondering what we AB fans will do once you've finished the Alter Bridge, Tremonti, Mayfield four, Slash, and Myles Kennedy solo discography 😢 tbh I usually only watch reactions involving Myles lol 😂 maybe do all the live acoustic versions available after the studio ones??
AlterBridge is just too good! Myles Kennedy alone or with Mayfield or Slash is good; but I’m always left missing Tremonti’s backing vocals and distinctive guitars. Same with Tremonti solo, or with Creed; its quite good, but I’m always left missing Myles’ vocals and songwriting! Both of them together; Priceless and Untouchable! 💪🤘🎸

It's looking like we'll have new music by the end of the month!
Off topic but since Creed just got back together, would you ever consider going to one of their reunion tours this year? I'm going to the one in San Bernadino and I'm so excited

This is a great song. Definitely the best song off their “worst” album.
